Alpine Creek Apartment Tyler Texas review: I would like rent to be lowered

We have lived here for almost 4 months. They have been a nightmare. Starting on Friday May 27. We were told to pick up our keys to our new apartment as early as 9am. When we did so we let them do their check to see if it was clean and habitable, in which they let us know it was not. After waiting for 5 hours in the heat, I told them to give me the keys and I will clean the place but my furniture and I can not sit in the sun waiting for someone to do their job. I spent from 3:21pm to 6:32am CLEANING the place. There was used blunts, dead roaches, pills and trash in every room everywhere. There was mold in the dishwasher fridge and shower. The comped 500 dollars off of rent for the trouble. Things in the apartment were not were still broken and unusable. Fast forward 3 whole months later (sept 7th). The AC stops working, with external weather being over 85 degrees. The office tells us the ac is too old to be set at 68 degrees. Our neighbor who has been here a whole leasing term let us know he keeps his at 64 degrees and it has never broken. So they lied. They have not fixed the AC. it is 9/19/22. This is an untimely manner. We are expected to pay $1,200 in rent for a broken apartment? This is utterly ridiculous and unprofessional. I have tried myself 5 times to contact the new management Capstone Real Estate. My roommate has tied 3 times. No response I know of. This is highly unprofessional and very upsetting. I am very displeased and feel as though I AM BEING ROBBED! Other things that have gone on are. Entering my dwelling with no notice. Two men barged in my front door with my female roommate on the shower and myself nearly indecent. This feels like an invasion of privacy and intimidates me. This causes a fear that one day my female roommate will be alone in the shower with 2 complete strangers (men) able to do god knows what. THEY continued to spray poison in the house. Spraying my cat's food and water. I watched this happen. When I questioned them and told them not to spray her food and water. They told me it was not harmful. I cleaned her bowls anyways and told the office. They told us what pesticide they used and it turns out it would have killed my cat within 10 minutes. I was LIVID! The office said they would give us notice from now on before they enter the dwelling. however a month later we get an email stating they have entered the apartment without giving us notice prior. Current issue is we are upset the ac is still broken and we have to pay full rent. Tell me who in their right mind would pay $1,200 for a dwelling that is not functional. I have asked the property manager to give me his bosses contact info to see if she can do anything. He refused and they have done nothing but come up with excuses.
