Tracy Allen has scammed me as well as various other freelancers. He routinely hires freelancers to work on production projects and then cuts all contact when it comes time to pay. Warning-- do not do business with this man! He has had various business names including TJAllan photography, Studio-530, and now ObeyNot studios, obeynot.com. With each business he screws various people out of work and money and closes the business only to reopen under another company name. His wife Danille Butin founded a charity called the Afya Foundation based in Yonkers NY. So between the two of them they are bathing in a river of free money and labor. Steer clear of both of them .
The heading in this complaint was wrong and I could not change it. The only option I was given to take the complaint down was to resolve it.
I am one of the freelancers he has scammed. I just found this post by accident, and I could not abstain from commenting. Tracy Allan comes off as an amazing guy and a pleasure to work with with many promises for future projects. I did freelance work for him and after the successful completion of the project he cut all contact. First it was excuses as to why I'm not getting paid, and then he disappeared completely.
