I received a call from www.afternic.com stating that they had an offer for a domain that I owned. I was surprised and quickly approved the price. www.afternic.com then asked me to quickly transfer my domain within a few hours to make sure everything went through. They had said that once the transfer was done, then they could pay out the proceeds. After a few days, I called up www.afternic.com to ask why my payout had not yet come through. The reassured me that everything was fine and that it was just taking a few extra days. I was ok with that response because it was the first time I had called in. After a few days went by I called back in. At that point a different customer service rep answered from an off shore country. That rep said that the payment was setup incorrectly and they it needed to be updated. I was a little upset at this point since this is my 3rd interaction with www.afternic.com and overtime they had just been pushing me off and never checking that there was an issue with the payment. I quickly did the update to the payment that www.afternic.com had requested and waited a few more day for the payment to come through. Remember, I never wanted to sell the domain the first place. A few more days go by again and I call again of course to get another customer service rep located outside of the US. At this point it's been a solid 2 weeks since the sale of the domain. I asked the customer service rep "where is the deposit and why has it not come through yet?" The rep said that I had the incorrect payment info. I just about lost it when the customer service rep said they. He then explained that the payment option called "Good as gold" was no longer an option and that a paypal was required since paypal is easy to use and deposits in real time. At the end of this conversation, I updated the payout info to paypal and the rep said it would be another few days. I waited another full week and called back in when I again, didn't see any deposits in our paypal. This time the customer service rep at www.afternic.com said that the payment was already sent out but that I wouldn't see it come into my paypal for a few more days. I laughed and explained how paypal is instant. Our company utilizes paypal daily and its 100% real time payments. Thats the whole reasoning for using paypal. But now after over 30 days of calling repeatedly and continuing to get pushed off, afternic is not pushing me off again and saying that it could take another 2-7 days for the money to hit paypal. Now what if I really needed this money. What if my family depended on that money and this company www.afternic.com and constantly lying to their clients about sending them their payouts. My life was way better when i wasn't calling afternic every 2-3 days getting constantly lied to. I now wish I never even sold the domain. If a call come in from afternic, just say no. It will save you a bunch of issue with this company. They are a total [censored] show. It's obvious that whoever is running the show over there has zero problem solving capability and of course the actually sales reps cant sold any issues. It took over 30 days of calling over and over and I'm still with no domain and no money from the domain that was sold.

If you want to save your time and money and not be lied to, then don't work with Afternic.com.

Desired outcome: don't work with Afternic.com.
