We chose Ace Web Studios to do our Website and was promised a responsive site customized to our needs. They promised the Website to be up in 3 to 5 days. We paid them the advance immediately. They made us shortlist a theme and start the work. (27 May 2014).
We checked if the theme could be implemented as is and they in written confirmation said yes it was possible. In between they sent us a mail saying they are delayed with the work. We requested them to give us only Home and Form Page so that we can showcase this for the investor meeting. Finally the day agreed was Monday 2nd half.
Our calls were not picked up. Finally On Monday 2 June 2014 at 10:30 PM in the night we got an email saying that the theme could not be implemented due to features not active in it as they were paid features. And instead they gave us something which is remotely not even a decent Website. They had picked up a random theme and even forgotten to change the icons with our content.
All said and done we asked them to leave the development. We paid them the FULL AMOUNT 6500 INR for nothing that they gave us. Then they sabotaged our cpanel and web admin password. They refused to handover inspite of being paid in full.
I finally lodged a complaint and then they released our Password.

In the heat of the moment I had written the comment. The issue has been resolved mutually through discussion. There is no complaint.
I am lodging this grievance against the Web Development Company - Ace Web Studios run by Mr Satyendra Dwivedee.
1. We have paid them the full money 6500 INR as they requested. The time for completion of work in 3 - 5 Working days (Effective from the day advance payment is confirmed which was done on May 27). (Quoting them - Please choose a suitable theme after its demo from the link below and we will customize that accordingly for your website) http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/free-responsive-wordpress-business-themes/ We short listed the theme Invert Lite as first preference and another theme as second. They promised a responsive site design based on our chosen themes.
But no work was happening. We received an email with Sorry Delay. When we tried to call them the owner was very rude and didn't even respond to our phone calls. After 2 days I politely wrote him an email urging him to understand our predicament of a startup and try and provide us with the home page and form as we have to meet investers.
But on the Day 7 we got a site which was not a responsive design and not even remotely looking like the theme we requested. I have no words to explain the disaster. They had instead used design from http://www.s5themes.com/theme/simplenbright/ And they have not done any major work, they have just replaced text here and there, but the icons from the sample site were still present.
We requested a handover.
2. Inspite of everything we still gave them the FULL AMOUNT but in return they sabotaged our passwords and refused to return to us the control. We had to lodge a complaint and then the threatening phone call made them issue the passwords back.
We are just putting it here so that some others like me dont get duped by money hungry fraud designers like Ace Web Studio.
