AcceptanceNow - Rude, condescending, egotistical, manager who abuses his authority

In August I broke my ankle, as I told Acceptance Now when they routinely contacted me regarding making my monthly payment. I also explained in September that my husband had previously been laid off from his job and wouldn't receive income for several more weeks. I also explained that I had absolutely no employment income during the 8 weeks that I was out on FMLA. Until today, everyone I came into contact with at ANow had (somewhat) decent phone etiquette. Even though I haven't really experienced a polite Acceptance Now Representative at Nebraska Furniture Mart since Christina left. Monday 11/18/2019 I spoke with Pam the A Now manager located inside the store that I currently sale furniture at and I explained my current income status with her and then I asked Pam if I had any options at this point to make lower, more frequent payments, in order to get financially caught up on my ANow debt & in order to keep my payments in good standings on my credit report. Considering that I've sold furniture to A Now customers who pay every two weeks, I asked Pam if that option was available to me and I asked if any of my bill could be deferred in order to help us get caught up on our debt.At that time Pam explained that she would need to contact the manager Alian at Nebraska Furniture (where my furniture was initially leased from) to see what he was willing to work out. I've had an awesome working relationship with Pam for over a year, and I felt more comfortable speaking to her initially. I also knew that she was personally aware of my recent misfortune/injury/financial hardship. After speaking with Alian, Pam explained that he wouldn't agree to allowing bi-weekly payments. After over two years of consistent on time payments it seemed as if Alian wasn't at all concerned with my previous pay history, injury, nor did he seem to relay any compassion towards my current financial circumstance, not to mention the customers that I've gotten to finance through ANow while selling furniture for Ashley.Instead Alian agreed to accept a payment of $150.00 Friday 11/22, and defer my current remaining balance, so that I wouldn't be required to make another payment until Jan. I thought those terms were pretty fair, with the exception of the new payment schedule being required on the 1st. and the 15th. of every month because I don't get paid on those specific dates of every month. I am paid every two weeks. Tonight when my husband attempted to make the $150.00 payment online, the system would only accept $262.00/the regular monthly payment amount. So my husband contacted customer service with me conferenced in for authorization. Then after asking for Alien the customer service representative told me that a lady named Markita was the manager at the NFM ANow location. After asking for Alian at least two more times, I was transferred to a store representative named Alex. I asked Alex twice to speak to Alian, and was told by Alex 1st that he could help me, I assisted again to speak to Alian, then Alex told me that Alian was currently with a customer. At that time my husband told Alex that he was just trying to make a $150.00 payment online and was having some issues w the website. Then Alex said "well you don't actually have a payment due until Dec. 15th." We then ended the call with Alex and were connected to Alian. 53 minutes later (while I was with a customer) ANow called my phone back. When I finished with my customer, I called back and Alex answered the phone and immediately admitted to providing my husband and I with incorrect information on the previous phone call. Then Alex immediately followed telling me that Alian needed to speak with me. As soon as Alian got on the call he had a very condescending attitude/tone toward me. At one point he even threatened me with not following through with the payment deferrment originally promised by (him) if I "attacked" him. I was at work standing at the ANow desk infront of my manager, Pam, and our office manager who all said that I handled the call extremely professional. No screaming, no cursing, no verbal insults, etc. But I was verbally threatened by an ANow manager over the phone. As I explained to him that I needed to contact my husband to conference him in for payment, Alian hung up the phone on me. I was at work attempting to make sales while this foolery was going on. I am truly sorry that I ever opened an account with ANow. I have a right to never mention ANow to ANYONE for ANY store location I'm in sales at. I did NOT write this email to receive a call from Alian! Matter of fact, I NEVER wish to speak to him again in the future for ANY reason AT ALL.
