We tried using 534 Rent to broker a contract between a renter (us) and the property owner. Cindy Wirt, the office worker, was extremely rude to us and failed to pass along information to us. We were told she was reprimanded, but it had no positive effect in our situation.
We made repeated inquires to the home owner and 534 Rent about the status of our contract. Three weeks later they had still not called us, even once. At this point, we told the owner that we would walk away if we did not have a contract in three days. When the owner pressed 534 Rent, they claimed the situation had been handled and we had agreed to accept a contract from them in two weeks. In our opinion they were dishonest and rude.
After spending 30 days trying to get them to send us a contract, we walked away. 3 business days later they had rented the property to someone else (application processed, contract completed and deposit accepted).
In our opinion they are not an honest company. We have taken our business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
DO NOT rent through these people. Terrible experience and no one i talk to knows what theyre doing and its so unprofessional. With as much as they make us pay and all of there ridiculous guidelines you'd think we could get someone to come out and help us with an issue as it should be yet i can't even begin to explain the difficulty ive had trying to get a maintience man to come out here Just to look at our oven. We were warned not to go through them and we should have listened. If youre thinking about choosing 534 rent, DONT. Huge waste of money and time for horrible services and they are so stingy! Charge you for EVERYTHING. Bad company for sure.
Oh..she is one of the most DISHONEST PEOPLE I HAVE ever interacted with, however this was years ago, she is NOT A NICE person and I am quite disappointed Wes Culver 523 was not a better judge on their hiring process...
