I was hired by 1st Place Models to work the Coverings tradeshow April 27-30 in Orlando, Florida. I was told I would receive my check by the end of May or beginning of June. It is July 6 and I still have not received my check. I have spoken with the other girls I worked the show with and they haven't received their checks either. We have all been contacting the company and they keep giving each of us different excuses as of why they have no paid us yet. This company is a complete joke. DO NOT work for them. This company should be put out of business and the directors should be in jail for fraud.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Dear "one_mad_model", we never had any show/booking in Orlando and the adresse 5555 Elmwood Ave. Suite H Indianapolis, IN 46203, Indianapolis, US is not ours, also not the phone number [protected]. There are just two possibilities, 1) you just want to damage our brand and wrote a fake review - in this case our lawyer will be informed or 2) you got scammed by people who used our name. (in this case, please go to the police!) Have a look on our webiste - the datas are totally different, and have a look at the section "models" - this are the only models we have! There are no other models at 1 st Place Models! And we are always paying very early, everyone can ask every model - no model is unhappy in our agency.
