The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

After opening an account with a rep name jack, i noticed that the web site used to track my trades was having issues with the trades actually expiring 30 to 60 seconds after the time had run out to zero. During this extra expiry time is when the strike amounts would move and i would not be awarded my winnings if they moved just enough for me to lose. Then the site started slowing and freezing so that i could not see my trades, track anything, or see information regarding possible trades. After emails to jack regading the web site, i received this reply:
" in a message dated 8 / 22 / 2012 10:54:35 a. M. Pacific daylight time, [protected]@zoomtrader.com writes:
Hello,
We are working on a complete solution to this matter which will be published tomorrow. Please be patient as it will be fixed soon and all of the trades will expire correctly.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this matter.
Regards,
Risk management team"
However, the solution was never published, the site continued to have problems with expiring long after the clock went to zero and i lost over $1375. In reporting this to jack, his reply was:
"8 / 29 / 2012 2:39:01 p. M. Pacific daylight time from: [protected]@zoomtrader.com
Yes of course,
Unfortunately its only you who has had a bad experience and for this i must apologise, this isnt the way we run our company, we are a very professional service, last week was a one off thing which will not happen again.
Is there anything i can do for you?"
This is when jack began to tell lie after lie. . .
My reply. . . "by your previous email about the technical issues with the site not expiring correctly i'm absolutely certain that i am not the only one who has had the issue of trades not expiring correctly as i described. Otherwise your tech team would not have had to work on the problem to be published on 8 / 23. "

Jack's reply:in a message dated 8 / 30 / 2012 11:23:42 a. M. Pacific daylight time, [protected]@zoomtrader.com writes:
"we have been through all of the trades that were affected during this time and if a client deserved a win we gave it to them. If you think you have some trades that were affected then please send me the trade id numbers and i will have them checked for you.
Thank you. "
My reply: " i see. So when you said, "unfortunately its only you who has had a bad experience" you were not telling me the truth. So there really have been others with the same issue you needed to check. "

Jack's reply: 8 / 30 / 2012 1:45:41 p. M. Pacific daylight time from: [protected]@zoomtrader.com
"the site was down for a few minutes the other night and it affected 3 people on our system, one person should have been recorded as a win but it wasnt so we gave him his winnings, your trades will also be checked against our records and i can send you a full report showing you all the closing prices and we will see if you should have won or not.
If there has been any mistake we will happily refund the money to you.
Thank you for your patience. "
Then i reminded him of the email where his "risk management team" admitting there was a problem with the trades expiring incorrectly. Then came a barage of antagonistic emails where jack was caught in lie after lie. Jack strongly urged me to have a conversation with him over the phone to "explain" but more like argue and antagonize me as to why he was refusing to refund my money based on his web site problems costing me money.
My reply: " actually jack, i will not speak with you but at this point want everything in writing. If i speak to you without a witness or a recording of the conversation, i have no proof of anything you say. I can see no reason for a personal conversation except for you to try again to convince me of the problems of the web site and how you claimed that others were awarded wins but just not me. "

Jack's reply:" hi tammy,
With all that considered id appreciate it if we could speak on the phone in order to allow me the chance to discuss this with you.
You are making serious claims of which i need to address each one fully with you and if you are interested in drawing a line under this whole experience im sure you will not decline this conversation.
Many thanks, and i look forward to your response.
Jack. "

And from jack again:
"ive now tried calling you three times and still no answer. "
My reply: "you just keep lying to me over and over. Now you know why i have no intention of speaking with you. You just lied in your email about the number of calls you made to me, of which my phone records prove, how many more lies would you tell over the phone that i wouldn't be able to prove?"

Then came jack's reason for not refunding my money. . :"i can refer you to paragraph 16 in our terms and conditions which states '' we shall not be liable for any loss suffered or incurred by you unless and to the extent that such loss is suffered or incurred as a result of our negligence''.
My reply: "jack, i'm tired of your stupidity and games. I've told you what i want based on evidence and according to your own terms and conditions which you just provided to me apparently not realizing that your company admitted there was a problem with the expiries and that there would be a solution published "tomorrow", and based on what you just provided me i should have been given a refund. "

And jack contiued to beg me for a personal phone call so he could "explain" everything and come to some kind of compromise. Yet, even though i had provided extensive documentation from him regarding the web site having trouble and he and his company's admissions that there was a problem not just with myself but others, jack determined that none of the problems affected me, just others. In a detailed email on 8 / 27 / 12 i send him the exact information regarding the extra expiring times and what it cost me. He still refused to refund my money.
Per jack at zoom trader:date: 9 / 5 / 2012 3:29:11 p. M. Pacific daylight time from: [protected]@zoomtrader.com
"i have decided not to issue a refund in this case as there was clearly no problem with your trades and all the trades you told me to check all finished with a loss. Again, just to make sure you have understood, it does not matter what it looks like to you when its expiring, what matters is the expiry price at the time of the close. "
What this boils down to is when you trade with zoom trader you have a clock that times your trade. What the strike amount is at the end of that time going to zero is what should be the number that decides if you win or not. Not with zoom trader! After the clock ticks to zero you see this: "expiring. . . " which then continues for a minimum of 30 to 60 seconds. At the end of that time is the number zoom trader uses to take your money.
Per jack: " you saw that you were in the money but when it closed finally it was recorded as a loss".
Per jack or his risk management team:
"hello,
We are working on a complete solution to this matter which will be published tomorrow. Please be patient as it will be fixed soon and all of the trades will expire correctly.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this matter.
Regards,
Risk management team"
And again per jack:in a message dated 9 / 5 / 2012 8:07:04 a. M. Pacific daylight time, [protected]@zoomtrader.com writes:
" in your case your trades were recorded as a loss and were not affected by the disruption on the site, you seem to be referring to another problem of expiry.
It does not matter what you saw at the time of expiry, the only thing that matters is the price recorded at the split second of expiry which is recorded on our system as you've seen, so just because it showed that you were in the money near to the expiry time it still does not mean that the market didnt change split seconds before the actual expiry time and therefore you happened to finish that trade as a loss. "
So even though jack and zoom trader acknowledged the problem with the trades expiring incorrectly and promised a solution that never came, and according to zoom trader's own t&c, jack still refused to refund my money. Per jack and his final decision not to refund my money:
Date: 9 / 5 / 2012 3:29:11 p.
Like jack at zoom trader just admitted, the tool you use to decide if you want to trade or not being the clock they provide after you post a trade, is not what they use to decide if you get your money or not! They extend the trading time by at least 30 to 60 seconds or more, while the stocks still move dramatically, calling it an "expiry" until you ultimately lose your money. When brought to their attention like i did with jack, they lie, argue, antagonize, and try to manipultae their own terms and conditions, which were very clear i shoul have been given a refund, to say you just don't get your money back. Then they try to get you to speak to them personally so that you cannot prove anything.
Stay away from zoom trader and specifically a rep named jack! They are a huge scam operating out of numerous companies!

My advise out there is for you to be wise before you invest in any binary option broker I was scammed 250k by online broker but at last I found someone who help me to recovered all my lost funds back from a scam broker that stocked my capital with an unregulated broker, If you need assistance with regards of your lost funds from your broker or may be your broker manager asking you to make more deposit before you could make a withdrawal or your account has been manipulated by your broker manager or your broker has blocked your account just because they need you to make more deposit to your account. If you’re interested in getting all your lost funds back Kindly get in contact with me on hkellyboom@gmail.com and I will guide you on the steps I took in getting all my refunds.

I just placed two trades, one for $100 and another for $50 both with returns of 172%. Well what do you know. No sign of me ever doing it and the winnings and deposits disappeared. Jack must call himself Sam now. He's my supposedly account manager. I'd say account thief. I'm sorry to all of you who trusted in zoomtrader. They are the zoom thieves. They know exactly what they are doing.

There's also another trick they use. They put a trade rate (price) in my orders that never existed at or around the time of the order date/time. You can easily check that on their own charts. So, of course I never won. If they had put the right trade rate according to the order date/time, I should have won a lot. Now I lost all my investment. What can I do?

Didn't notice any scam from their side. Yes, bonus system is tricky, but if you actually read terms and conditions you'll quickly notice this line. I asked my account manager to remove the bonus, they did it and I successfully withdrew my money.

Zoom Trader is a ripoff, I had 500$ trade on one position where I have selected "Put", the position closed 4 ticks below my iniotial position, but the system changed it to take my money and profit.
I have submitted a complaint and waiting for the reply.
By the way, I have tried more than one binary option company, and the whole thing is a scam, try to avoid it, because even if you make some profits for a short while, it is very unlikely to be able to withdraw it, they make it very difficult, and delay it for a long time in order to play more, and through the manupulation of the system, you will lose the money.

Do Not Throw your money away. Obvious Scam ! It's hard to fathom how this is allowed to continue. I traded about 20 times seeing the same exact flaw each time over and over. They do not even try to fix it and keep saying, "You're the only one who is having this problem."

I saw binary options for the first time searching through google...I found 2 platforms the first was zoomtrader, , , the second was cedar finance..and for the very first time this was my review..I go to check out more information on these, then I get a phone call from some guy I think is an employer with cedar finance. He make's a testimonial to me we are on the phone discussing thing's about the market and how he said I could make money with this and if i deposit $500 he will give a bonus..I said I was only going to go with the minimum of $100...and I kept saying this time and time again and he said the only way you can do this is to deposit is by phone..I was like this sounds like ###, It got pretty tense from this moment and he said well I have to run very soon...and the phone just cutttt off ------------Anyway.I didn't have a very good experience over the phone I wasnt thinking about signing to cedar finance, Instead I started to research more..I get a call in the evening from a man who is working with zoomtrader, He make a promising testimonial that I will indeed make money from this platform and said If you deposit the minimum of $200 I will give you a bonus of $100 on top of that.I said okay that sounds great as he sound very friendly and customer support was great experience.I signed up and he said he will give me a demonstration, We skyped he showed me a strategy and said look this is how you can make the money.I said ok, .he told me to make my first 3 trades. My first one came back positive with a win.My 2nd and third was bad...we spoke for a little bit then..he said isnt it time for you to sleep now? I think this was a way to get rid of me..anyway I went to bed, Next day I was up in the m orning trying to trade...this time I made some great comeback..and I told the guy..He didnt replied..
Then after a short time, I noticed some glitch in the system..and a trade that was made and I didn't click on this one..Anyway I started to notice I am losing from freezing in the system..and I tried to get in touch with my account manager about this..He call me the next day and I told him what happening..and he said You should be taking it slowly not like gambling here...So i took this into consideration and next day I go back and I make a great come back, then after that I start to lose. =( ...Majority of this is my part, I get crazyyy after becauseI start to think the system is trading against me to make me lose the money >.< ...So i make a complaint to my account manager that there is something wrong with the system and it's making me lose...After almost losing everhything..I start to just trade big amount till my account run out...fortunately I win $44 back...So I have hope yet, because I am still trying to fight this system to win my share's back to be able to withdraw the money.., ..The $200 deposit = $300 my currency I don't have hope of ever claiming this back :(

This is such an obvious scam I can't say I feel bad for anyone on here. Read the testimonial names "Julie Moore, Nancy Green".. generic and obviously fake.. Odd how everyone thinks they are dealing with "Jack Moore".. one guy deals with every issue, in the world? Or its fake. You should also have noticed that this is a ridiculous system; stocks are bought low and sold higher, no one cares or can possibly profit from you guessing/betting on which way it will go.. there is not profit there as nothing as bough or sold. I am amazed anyone fell for this. Shame, people like you make these things work.

This is the largest piece of documentation that I have found about zoomtrader, and yet it was a waste to read it.

To the person making the complaint.
Read the Terms and Conditions of all contracts before signing them, this will ensure that you understand what YOU are getting in to. Also understand that with sites such as this, you have to account for the delay in data transfer between the server (zoomtrader) and your home ISP (Internet Service Provider). With the lag generated between these you can easily predict what will go wrong when waiting for a count down.
When making you bets on the market trends, FOLLOW THE TREND don't bet on anything that isn't going to give you a reward, you may loose and you may win, but it is easier with the market because you have a live feed. If you aren't used to it yet then hold back and do it slowly, only bet on the positives not on the "maybe".
See a financial advisor about how to play the market rather than watching a video, listening to a sales person and then assuming it is as easy as it is laid out to be. I am a sales professional and i will spin dust, dirt and grime into not gold but platinum coated in diamonds to make a sale. I won't lie but I make sure everything sounds amazing, or at least enough to seed a dream for you imagination to grow.
If someone wants to make a personal phone call to you then place in writing that you will be recording the phone call. There are plenty of applications or pieces of equipment out there that you can download or buy to assist you with it. If you do not understand the technology yourself then ask a friend, or go down to your local computer store and enquire. I have done this before when speaking with a telecommunications company, its simple and they understood the phone call was being record for my own use if anything required legal action.
You were silly not to take the call and then use it against him. Secondly, when making a complaint you need to do three things.
1. Break the complaint down - make it as detailed as possible with step by step instances.
2. State what outcome you want - it is no good complaining without saying how you want it fixed, its the first thing you learn when dealing with complaints of negotiating.
3. Do not publicly announce your disgust until you have a SOLID answer or solution - if you post something, like this, online for the public to see then you are less likely to get somewhere. Companies will not payout after it has been posted as you have just burnt your biggest bargaining chip.
None of these three steps did you outline in your complaint. Hence why you didn't get anywhere.

To the remaining people complaining,
You are complaining without a structure. You have no meaning or direction for/of your complaints, there is no evidence posted from anyone who has replied and also no requests for action to be taken, apart from a police arrest - which will not happen as you have to READ EVERYTHING YOU SIGN FOR.
Suggestion, learn to actually play the stock market before playing with it, wall street has a game for it that simulates real time trading.
Structure your complaining and also provide evidence when complaining directly to the company.
Don't post things on forums before a proper outcome has been had, it just puts you, the complainer, in a worse position to negotiate the outcome you are after. Use the publicity stunt as leverage.
Look at how may good reviews have been made about the website and then ask those people for tips on trading, pretty simple!

I agree totally what a scam. I wish the police would arrest him, and shut down his phoney website! its no less fishy that the his video is a pop up ad. Be warned do not under pain of death use Jack's site. A friend did and even though I told her it looked scammy she told me I was just being a little paranoid. She's down 3, 000 hard earned dollars, and she closed her account, but got a call from the company telling her that they had a check for her but since she closed her account she could not get it! they where rude and when she opened it again she didn't get any money. that man is rich off people's hard earned money. Jack has no idea about trading he just pretends to enlighten people with his ### video website, and charm.

I had the same problem. Zoomtrader was expiring my trades at a different amount than on the ticker - always just enough to make the trade a loser. A trade would be closing as a win, they'd show the profit made, and then in the transaction log the same trade would be listed as a loss. I understand that sometimes there's a lag and the trade could jump to being a loser at the last second, but this happened too many times in one day until all the money was gone. As I explained to the rep on the phone, not once did it ever jump the other way. Never did it close as a loser but show up in the transaction log as a winner. But plenty of winners did.

I started checking the tickers when this occurred and sure enough Zoomtrader was using different closing numbers than on the ticker - always just enough to make a loss. Their tech support suggested I take a screenshot of every trade while it was closing. Yeah, right. It flashes on the screen for a second or two. I will not be refilling my balance at Zoomtrader and suggest no one else does either.

100% agree with all these complaints. Zoom Trader is the biggest scam in the binary trading industry. They have also stolen money from me when i signed up 2 weeks ago. I deposited £500 which I worked very hard.

I noticed that the platform they use which was developed by Tradologic is faulty. Th expiry time does not allow you to win as it takes too long to expire after the time you win and this causes you to lose your trade.

After complaining to Jack at Zoom Trader, I was told it would be dealt with and resolved but it never was. Jack is a complete liar and cheat and he makes excuse after excuse.

The online technical support is the worst support I have ever experienced. They are also liars and cheats and do not know anything about their own service.

I contact a woman called Ofri at Tradologic who also started lying and telling me a load of rubbish.

I do NOT trust Zoom Trader and do NOT trust Tradologic. They are both scams and neither of them are ever interested in resolving your problems.

If you trade with Zoom Trader or use the Tradologic platform you WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY.

STAY AWAY FROM ZOOM TRADER AND TRADOLOGIC!

I too am a victim of zoom trader who stole $1000 of my money.

I was forced into taking a bonus which gave me $500 which I did not want.

I was then forced to trade 40 x the bonus amount which is $20, 000 before I would be allowed to withdraw.

I did not want the bonus but they forced it on me and when I complained, they did not respond. Instead they kept referring to their terms and conditions which are very unclear and then suspended my account changing my username and password without notice.

I call and asked for jack who then gave me a load of lies and kept trying to ### his way out of what he did.

Jack is a scam artist and a crook. Zoom Trader STOLE my money and I have no access to my account to be able to get my money back.

I am in the process of taking legal action and awaiting on the high courts to process my claim.

STAY AWAY FROM ZOOM TRADER - THEY ARE A HUGE HUGE SCAM - JACK MOORE CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

Zoom Trader is a huge scam. Their live support is fake and is the same person answering questions using different names. They do not know anything about the stock market and they are never able to answer the questions you have. They claim to have offices in London, USA and Israel and Cyprus. In fact, they are fake and only have a virtual address in cyprus with one man called jack running the business from his house.

I got a call from this jack character after speaking to online support and all he tried to do was ### me with promises of what his site can offer. He claims to be connected with all the top FTSE and various hedge funds but in fact he is a small time crook who steals peoples money with a badly developed platform and a very bad support system.

He has stolen over $2500 from me and failed to payout my winnings as he hides behind his fake terms and conditions. All I ever hear is read the terms and conditions. His website is rubbish and he is NOT FSA (Financial Services Authority) Regulated and does not run his business according to his terms and conditions or according to Reuters guidelines.

I have spoken with Reuters who have informed me that they are looking at opening a case against him as he is a very risk of being fraudulent and is using the Reuters name to big himself up.

Jack and Zoom Trader is a HUGE SCAM and FAKE. They MUST NOT be trusted and do NOT invest your money in Zoom Trader or in Jack. STAY AWAY FROM ZOOM TRADER!

While i am not a huge fan of options trading sites as the buy in rate is not the exact same as real price (spread betting is even worse) i understand they have to take a small margin on position.
I trade at 3 options sites (not huge numbers $300 a month in total)
the above statements seem like one person having a bash and multi posting, the $30k is rubbish as the max deposit is $5, 000
http://www.zoomtrader.com/content/Transfer%20Methods
I have also spoken to live chat and asked if you can make 6 deposits and they said its $5, 000 maximum full stop. so this is just untrue.
Also the maximum bonus is upto $2, 000 as per the daily emails so again the quote below is a lie.

'At first it sounded like a good business, but I later found out after investing $30, 000 that Jack Moore and Zoom Trader is a scam.
I was given a forced bonus of 50% of my investment which was $15, 000. I know had $45, 000 in my account.'

What i would suggest is using complaint boards for real complaints, this way we can really see who is cheating who and who traded badly and lost and has got upset and thrown their toys out of the pram.

Regarding sites to avoid i have only found one to be an issues so far and that was traderxp.com who still have $300 of my funds (no bonus taken)

I got a call from a guy called Jack Moore who is the owner of Zoom Trader after speaking with a very bad and rude online support team.

This guy started making claims on how his site was voted the number 1 site and that he was partners with Reuters, Microsoft and other big corporate brands.

After trying this website I very soon found out that it was just a scam. The platform which has been developed by Tradologic is just one big scam.

It has been designed NOT to pay you out and their biggest trick of all is to scam you into being tied into a bonus scheme which they DO NOT pay out on when you profit.

At first it sounded like a good business, but I later found out after investing $30, 000 that Jack Moore and Zoom Trader is a scam.

I was given a forced bonus of 50% of my investment which was $15, 000. I know had $45, 000 in my account.

After only 9 weeks of trading and knowing the stock market my account balance was $647, 325.00. When I put a withdraw request through the site it was rejected 4 times.

I then spoke to a very rude and arrogant support team who got Jack to call me. He made lie after lie after lie. Telling me that I had not fulfilled my bonus terms.

This is what his bonus terms state: 21. The Company, at its sole discretion, may decide (but not be obliged to do so) to offer bonuses, promotional offers or any other kind of benefits to the Client, to set its conditions, and/or change them without prior notice to the Client. The Company shall not be subject to reason its decision nor to be forced to do the same in future transactions of the Client. Once a bonus has been awarded/accredited to a clients account, they will be subject to execute transactions in an amount of at least forty (40) times the deposit amount and might also subject to minimum deposit and/or minimum volume of trading and/or a certain time limit. Furthermore, the Company may, at its sole discretion, credit the Client with up to Thirty five Percent (35%) bonus for each deposit made by the Client up to a maximum of one thousand five Hundred ( $1500). Financial bonuses will be also subject to Client's full compliance with these Terms.

I had traded 40 times, hence giving me the amount in my account.

Jack and Zoom Trader support FAILED to pay me out and eventually closed my account down without notice or warning.

I am still waiting on my $30, 000 deposit which they claim is ALL I will get back.

They have STOLEN my profits as I am sure they have done to others.

Jack Moore and Zoom Trader is a BIG SCAM. DO NOT TRUST THEM AND DO NOT INVEST IN THEIR BUSINESS OR THEIR BINARY PLATFORM.

I also got scammed by Zoom Trader and jack who called me with all the big talk but was not able to provide a professional service or a site that was honest and reliable.

Zoom Trader has a system where you place a trade and a clock begins to count down to the expiration. When the clock ticks to zero, you should be awarded a win or suffer a loss. After the clock ticks to zero, you see this, "Expiring..." for at least another 30 to 60 seconds. During that time, if your trade was close, the stocks move just enough for you to lose your money.

I reported this problem to Jack at Zoom Trader and received an email acknowledging the expiring problem and a promise it would be fixed. It was not and I lost my money. When I brought this to Jack, even though in his own Terms & Conditions I should have received a refund, he refused and lied to me continuously, and finally in an email at the end of a long succession of pleading for me to speak to him over the phone where it would be my word against his, he replied with this:

In a message from scam artist and con man Jack (jack@zoomtrader.com) writes:

"Again, just to make sure you have understood, it does not matter what it looks like to you when its expiring, what matters is the expiry price at the time of the close."

And unfortunately, the customer has no way of having an exact time for the trade to expire because the clock goes to zero, but Zoom Trader keeps it open until it moves to where they get your money. I urge all who have been affected by this to please come forward and report them and spread the word about them so others are not cheated out of their money!

If I win at the time of the expiry then i should not have to wait a further 30 - 50 seconds. Having spoken to Tradologic, the platform developers, i was told by their tech team that expiry is in realtime and instant. The minute the expiry time comes, you should be paid out at that very second and not have to wait longer.

Zoom Trader and Jack have either altered their platform or have changed their expiry times to make sure they always win.

DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE WORD JACK SAYS. ZOOM TRADER IS A BIG SCAM!

They are a huge scam and in spite of asking for help - all i got was rudeness and to be told "look at the terms". They hide behind terms that are incorrect and furthermore, they force you to taking a bonus that then ties you into incorrect terms without giving you the option before you invest. There is no warning. I have also had a problem where the site functions do not work and even after asking them to resolve, they referred me to their terms and conditions and then closed my account stealing my money.

This site is a scam - they provide a binary trading site which give fake readings and incorrect terms. They do not provide support and when you have problems, they close down your site and steal your investment and winnings.

Even when you win - they do not show you your winnings and have set their expiry time so that after the winning time is over, you still lose because their system is design to delay payout until you lose your investment.

If you do win, they do not pay out and reject any withdraw requests.

I have now started legal action against zoom trader and against jack.
