I have a recall on my Yamaha FJR 1300A. The recall is for the main switch. I have been told by my local dealer that the switch has arrived which comes with 2 new keys. I am annoyed that Yamaha do not think that all locks on this bike and all bikes only have one key for all locks. Why is it now down to me to have all my locks changed for the new key.
This is something that I will take as far as I can and will look to take this much much further.
I have spoken to a number of people through the media and all say the same.
It also worries me that when I sell my bike people always get suspicious when there are 2 different sets of keys as well.
I ask that you look into this for me as quickly as possible

Many Thanks

Keith Bright

Ok so the situation is I have a recall on my bike this being for the main switch. I have been advised that the part has arrived but and a big but is the part is the ignition switch and the part comes with two new keys.

This means that the Panniers, Top box, Seat and fuel cap is now to have a separate key. It seems that Yamaha will not change the barrel with the old one so it seems.

Why should I have to have two separate keys for my bike when it should only have one set.
