HERBERT MAGGIO III at KM 17 Enterprises is totally trying to rip me off. He took my money a month ago for shoes that i ordered and he refuses to ship them out.
In his emails to me, he has told me that i am an "Angry Person" and referred me to some anger management book. He also has called me a "###".

Then when i demanded a tracking number, he gave me a FAKE tracking number to some place in some other state.

i am working with my bank and a fraud department to get my money back.

We have experienced similar encounter. This website takes payment IMMEDIATELY yet makes you wait MONTHS for items that are promised within weeks. One of us is STILL waiting and it's been 4 MONTHS!

I have also bought from this vendor.It was in late January and am yet to see the boots, the money was taken out right away. your lucky you at least got a response, I have received nothing, I've e-mailed numerous times without a response I never even got a tracking number or e-mail acknowledgment of the order.Only proof bank statement.

This man is an absolute animal. He has told me that he sent my boots and then said that the UK customs wont allowed them to be deliveried. He then asked me fopr money money and when i said i want a refund he said only 75%. My bank Halifax said its my own fault for giving him my details!

Its best to accept that none of us will get our money back! The man is a fraud and we need to ensure no one else gives him their money!

I completely agree. He is a fraud. I actually did receive the boots but as soon as I took them out of the box, put them on and laced them up, a leather eyelet strap broke. I hadn’t even had them out of the box for a minute. I’ve been trying to get him to replace the boot for a month now. He won’t accept any responsibility or warranty from his company. He keeps telling me that I should bring the boot to a shoe repair place and have them fix my boot to save me time and money from having to ship them back to the company and having to wait on them to be fixed. He’s even accused me of breaking the boots. I have reported him and his company to the Better Business Bureau and hope that you are do too. Here’s the last email I sent him after he accused me of breaking the boot.

Herb, how dare you accuse me of breaking these boots myself. These are a $300 pair of boots. They are from a well-named, high quality boot manufacturer. I have had many boots costing far less in my life time that have lasted many years, far longer than the 1 minute I had them for before they broke. I have severed in the Army for 8 years and have been a federal police officer for 3 years since then. I know how to lace up a pair of boots and know when someone is full of [censor] like yourself. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on your company and hope that they put an end to the crap you are pulling. I have also emailed the New Rock company and sent them your company information and the problems my family has had dealing with you. If anything, hopefully New Rock can make sure you are no longer able to sell their boots. I have never had to deal with any company that was this bad that they were willing to sacrifice their company’s name all because they weren’t willing to accept the responsibility and stand up for their product.

After reviewing others peoples complaints on-line about your company, I don’t see how you are still out there scamming people. You want people to post videos for your company to show how much they like them. How about I post videos showing how terrible your company is and how you are a fraud? Being from Massachusetts, I’d sure like to stop by next time I’m home and speak with you in person so you can hear just how angry I am with your company. With any other company out there, if there were a problem with their product, they would stand by it and not try to make up excuses to try and get away from having to deal with it. I have been trying to get this boot replaced for a month now and you haven’t helped at all.

I have already brought the boot to a boot repair place and they told me that they would have to stitch on another piece of leather to the boot to make it work because the piece that broke was part of the leather on one whole side of the boot. Should I really have to spend my own money having extra parts sewn into the boot to make it work? I know your company would not send any reimbursement. If you are not willing to help at all than I and willing and look forward to letting people out there on the Internet know that your company, You, are a fraud.

I have ordered from Sweetboots and everything went totally smooth. I'm sorry you guys have experienced grief... My experience was totally different. I got the Blackest of the Black Boots and they arrived in about 2 weeks after my order. I wasn't sure about my size and I called them on the phone. Herb was very nice, he helped me figure out the size I would need and also gave me a discount on the order. He is also going to work with my band members to get them hooked up also. Will buy from again!

I ordered boots from him, he spoke with me on the phone multiple times, even texted, and my boots came within a week. I am sorry to hear you all had problems, after reading these I was worried, but then he gave me the tracking in they showed up right away. Ordered June 24th, arrive July 1st at 10am.
