Whiz-A-Top Linen Services Ltd. — Safety Issues and NO WSIB
This company is crap, they care not about their employees, the safety in this plant are the worst, there is 500 pound bags hanging from the ceiling and people have been hit from having them fall on them, one person even died because of it, furthermore when asked to have the Form 7 made up for WSIB. The companies manager Brianne Grbavac has not even tried to complete the forms. Most of the machines date back to the 1940's and 50's they are either breaking down, or causing trouble. The employees get paid 10.25 an hour before taxes, but there take home pay is sub standard. The drivers of the company which have to regularly deliver the linen must do so by breaking many of the HWY traffic acts rules. In Ontario Canada they have 3 lines on most hwy's the inside passing lane is out of bounds for these vans, but the owner tells them they must drive there or not get that days run finished, and by doing this they will get fired.
One driver fell off the back of the truck because the truck was unsafe, no safety handles within reach, that guy has a broken spine and crushed disc's, again the company refused him WSIB.
Another guy fell off the loading dock and died, the company didn't help out his family didn't even show up for the poor guys funeral. This company is a ### hole, don't trust the owners, Rob Grbavac [protected] or his daughter Brianne Grbavac [protected], and the office manager Kathy Simpson [protected], texting them works also.
You won't find prices for anything and when you ask you will get no answer, all the prices are different for other clients, even know they may receive the exact same product, they prices are fixed for one and another will pay through the nose.
In score of 1 to 10 this company gets a 1, two thumbs down.
