Hi, My name is Marcella and I moved into Westridge in hilltop about 2 months ago. I moved into building K apt 03. First, the hallway was disgusting dog poop that stayed there for 2 weeks to where one of my guests just went ahead and picked it up. 2 the apartment was not move in ready, the ceiling and walls were brown as if the previous tenants smoked. The stove was not cleaned at all... Piled up grease, and the floors had food on them. When I reached out to Daijah the property manager, I got a rude attitude. I also mention the fact that my son was murdered in the last apartments I lived in, in the hallway. I explained that I have PTSD and that hallway was a major trigger for me. After weeks of going back and forth, she issued a document called reasonable accommodation form. At this time, I filled the documents out with my request, and paperwork from my doctor. When I requested corporates number from Dajiah she refused to give it to me and stated, "we don't have a corporate office, I handle all residents' concerns". I was blown away to find that there was a corporate office. Fast forward, I moved into my new unit and again no check off list, but I was happy with the apartment K building apt C. I did ask if there was another 80% unit that had a little more sunlight access, she told me that I had to move in the same building if I wanted the transfer, this made no sense to me, what difference does it make if im not in BLDG K. The thing that most frustrated me was I tried to give the keys back early Saturday morning at 6am but they were not accepted by Maintenace. I then waited to see if anyone was going to call regarding the walkthrough but I heard nothing after several attempts were made. I spoke with Daijah the follow Tuesday and she stated that I will be paying for days 1-5. I advised her of my moveout date, and she bullied me until she confirmed it with the Maintenace that my actual moveout date was Saturday but still stated that she would be charging me for Saturday. She has no compassion for the residents She reminds me of a robot. She talks to you like your less than human and her follow through sucks. Also no one ever answers the phone in the office. FYI I still have not received my deposit and it will be 21 days on 09/20/23. The last refund I received took 2 months and the reason was they sent it to my old address which zI never received, I would have gotten it if it was sent because it's my family home.
