I purchased furniture from Wendy on Craigslist. She claimed the dining set was *NEW* and assured me that it was in excellent condition. Upon paying her $500 cash for the set I took it home and set it up. I did a close inspection when I got home and found places where the chairs had been glued with wood glue to hold them together (very sneaky). I called and she said she would replace them (no problem, right?). She then proceeded to set up multiple meetings w/ me and then cancel at the last minute. She then started to ignore my emails and phone calls and never replaced the TWO broken chairs. Her email is [protected]@aol.com, her card says "Wendy & Mario's Furniture" [protected]. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN, she sells damaged goods.
OMG! This girl and her hubby will certainly be called on to pay for all their lies, cheating and scamming.
I'm not knaive, but trust me on this, this person is well-accomplished in taking your money, giving you lies and spending nothing on her business.
Why she is not in jail is beyond me. People, don't listen to the "person" who defends her. Trust me, this is just Wendy posting as someone else.
This gal is not the salt of the earth. She is not truthful. She is not above board.
She IS a cheat, a liar, a scammer, a thief and a low-life. I just wish I could trumpet this to the poor suckers who don't do their homework before placing their trust in her.
And, if you don't believe me, or if Wendy herself posts here as someone else, just ask yourself this question, "Why would so many people like about something like this?"

Even worse, if you post on Craig`s lisgt, she will have your ad pulled (flagged) and then she singles you out for her scam and pulls you in... RUN!

Yes, I was recently scammed by Wendy. She is awful and quite a fabricated story teller. I think she needs to be handcuffed and put in prison. She has done this to enough people to constitute theft crime and human indecency. Does it really kill someone to go out and try to get a real job? Or are Wendy and Mario using this money to do drugs or what? If you don't have a quality product to sell or you cant give what you say you have then you amount to nothing. It is sad these days but people want to settle as low as the ### on a pond. Be a do nothing and screw up on everyone elses world because you cant face the real world. Face the music and try a new profession. What kind of conscience do you have Wendy? I mean you come off as sweet and nice but you are truly an expert con. Lies fly out of your mouth as if you believe them to be true. It is just that easy. Do you like making people angry like this? Wasting hard earned MONEY I mean money that people actually WORKED for in an honest world that honestly does not pay that much. I could be on unemployment but I don't want to degrade myself. Instead I told you I wanted to try to resell furniture. With what little money I have to invest with you would be so much safer right? WRONG AGAIN...OUCH...you have really hurt and damaged the lives of many people. You sold me a truck FULL of CRAP. NO wonder you would not give me your real address because you knew it would lead to this website and RIPOFF websites too. Knowing that you bought this furniture in the first place in a damaged condition or incomplete sets...why didn't you return it to the people you bought it from or report them? Are you proud of the fact that you hustled people for boxes of damaged furniture at BARGAIN LAND. I am sure you do have the money somewhere...why don't you use the money that you have STOLEN from others and invest it in something worthwhile..and pay the rent...and pay people back what you owe. Why are you so money hungry anyway? You sold $100, 000 worth of furniture in one year right? RIGHT! Jeez you are a piece of work. Then to sit on this website and talk to people and call them losers and use profanity like that. Seriously try taking up an honest living. Ever heard of Starbucks or Wal- Mart? Maybe you could hustle them for barrels of beans or open up a used grocery store in your house. There you GO!

This is a shame . Wendy's made a few mistakes but the problem is all of you ### hole people who have sticks so far up your ### you cant think straight. Edwin your a freaking loser . You need to learn a little more about the courts before you talak ###. Your just dumb. and your reasearch on her also is so wrong its not funny. She doesnt have a daughter idiot. Half of the jerks on here are ###s who bought furniture from this company and thought they copuld do ti also, truied and failed and are pissed off that she is doing suck a great job.. You know who you are. Everyone here got their money back or their furniture. So shut the ### upa nd get a life.
She scammed me also..I am about to bring her to small claims court, she has delivered me nothing so I will be sueing her for refund, my hourly wages wasted and my time should add up to a good chunk of change, whether I get paid doesn't bother me I'll just have there wages garneshed until it is paid off.
I am out 700 dollars for now, but as we speak I'm filling out a Attorney General form, and the paperwork for my small claims case.

I had the most horrendous experience with them last summer but didn't want to post anything until my Small Claims against them was completely settled. I went through hell with them for an entire week: parital delivery, lies, no return phone calls, BS excuses. After 3 days of jerking us around we finally drove to the house to pick up the headboard that was supposed to have been delivered first on Tuesday, then on Thursday by 10AM that morning. Imagine our surprise when we were told that it still needed to have another coat of polyurethane applied! So... how was it supposed to have been delivered when it wasn't done? We won the judgement against them in court but I didn't get awarded any reimbursement for my time, gas or mileage for the 3 trips I made to her house to get all of the furniture that I not only paid for but paid to have delivered! The reason why? One week before the court date (which was in November!) she delievered the side rails for the bed. So when the judge heard that all of the furniture was delivered he only reimbursed us all of the costs for the claim. The only problem was - the side rails were for a twin bed and we purchased a queen! It was just one massive disaster for 6 months! I have told everyone I know about them and that it's not worth it to do business with them - you'll only get ripped off!
I have done business with these people recently. We had made an agreement and they backed out and still owe me a few hundred dollars. They come up with all kinds of excuses like, the check is in the mail and "My wife is in the hospital". All kinds of BS until they finally just won't respond to you anymore.
Stay away from these people and do not do business with them! I wish I would have read all of these complaints before I did business with them.
They will rip you off!
I feel upon this site looking for Wendy's web site. Just to put in my 2 cents, Wendy is great. I purchased a TV unit from her about 1.5 years ago. It is still standing strong , not one issue. Since them I have purchased many and I mean many other pieces from her. And why not. Shes a very nice lady and make sure you find this out for your selves. I mean think about it. Its been 1.5 years + that shes been doing what it is she does and you can not make some A**H***s happy no matter what you do. But you can only imagin how many peopl eshe has made happy (like myself) . All furniture stores have complaints. Go research Ashleys, or Rooms to go. Some people just need to get a grip and pull those undies out...

Wendy and Mario I'm sure are "wonderful people" when they're not ripping people off and scamming them. I'm sure the furniture they falsely advertise for are great pieces of furniture. But the pieces you actually get are broken, glued back together, refinished, wrong colors, mismatched, missing hardware, etc. You're paying cheap prices for ghetto-fied furniture from their garage.
False advertising = WNM Furniture.
I'm under the impression, they took down their website either because they they had too much bad publicity, because they had no money to continue the service, or they figured they would start over because it looked like a 5-year olds school project.

Furniture For Sale
Recently my husband and I invested in a semi-truck load of unmainfested furniture. So far we have unboxed and built many intersting and very nice pieces of furniture. Now we want to pass on to you savings of 50% to 75% off retail cost of this furniture. All of our furniture is brand new and built by us. Rest assure my husband is a skilled carpenter who owns his own business, so I think he know what hes doing (ha,ha). Please take a look at what we have built so far and chedck back everyday for new pieces. As items are sold I will delete them and add new. HEY WENDY, If you're reading this remember what I said in one of my email exchanges to you: YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE. I ALSO MENTIONED THAT WHEN PEOPLE (YOU) SHOW OTHERS (THE PEOPLE YOU'RE SCAMMING) WHO THEY (YOU) ARE - BELIEVE THEM (YOU). I realize those statements are probably too complicated for you to understand, with the simple minded scam you have going with the honest, trusting individuals you're scamming. More and more people are on to you and it will catch up with you.
Wendy is a FRAUD! She took a deposit of $2,675 from me -- then after blowing my off for days on end, finally delivered what I thought was $1,850 worth of furniture -- I later opened everything and realized that half the pieces were missing. She claims to have had a broken trailer, a tire blew out and a car accident. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not received the rest of the furniture nor has she set any of it up as we agreed nor has she refunded my additional money. I posted a Do Not Do Business with Wendy on Craig's List and she retaliated by posting personal ads with very graphic details with both my name and number and my mother's name and number! She is childish, immature and extremely unethical!
The police have been notified and a criminal prosecution is underway for her personals Craig's List posting. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am pursuing legal action to get a refund of my money.
If you have had any similar situations with Wendy, please contact me and I can put you in touch with my contact at the Better Business Bureau or the Scottsdale Police Department.
Also -- she is supposedly buying this furniture from ACME Corp and Homelegance -- Does anyone know if this is in fact true?
And in response to Jennifer -- any small business who has 3 claims of theft in 2.5 years IS pretty bad. Unsatisfactory customer service is one thing -- but Theft is quite another.
I disagree with anyone who is complaining about this company. I purchased my first thing from them in 2005 and have been back nemourous times. Every company has issus wih some people , but some people are just never happy with anything. The prices are the best I have found and the ONE issue I did have with one of our orders , Wendy took care of A.S.A.P. Dont judge until you know bothsides , and I am sure there is more to it than the above mentioned.

Yes... this woman is sneaky alright. We ordered 8 brown leather chairs... she so kindly assembled the BROWN chairs and decided she would deliver them for us...she wapped them in plastic so we couldn't see they were black and not brown when they were delivered. Within 20 minutes I called her. I called her numerous times and she only delivered 6 chairs and she told me she would try to have the other two to me the same evening... well that was Thursday and it is Sunday and she won't return phone calls or email. I know where she lives and I will be notifying the authorities of theft. She has my money and I have a bunch of black chairs that I don't want.

My husband and I purchased almost our entire home's furnishings from Wendy in January 2007. We purchased 2 bedroom sets, living room sofa, loveseat & tables plus more. Our furniture was perfect. We had no problems at all dealing with her and refer her often. Dont let what 1 person says ever effect the decision on anything. You can not ever please everyone. But she did a good job pleasing us and we will be back to her when and if we need more furniture.
