Wellcare Health Insurance review: Intentionally stealing money from me.

I signed up with Medicare Advantage and a secondary insurance with Wellcare. I was informed that my monthly payment with Medicare would be withdrawn from my Social Security account and I received a monthly payment book from Wellcare. I started making my payments to Wellcare in March 2022. On September 16, 2022, I realized I was late with sending my payment to

Wellcare. I called them to make a payment over the phone. While on the phone, the staff member was looking up my information. A few moments later, I was informed that my payments are automatically withdrawn from my Social Security. I was confused! I mentioned that I have been making monthly payments with checks. Why wasn't I told that back in February? I also learned on that day, Wellcare is being operated within the Philippines!

I was connected to a manager, we discussed the situation and I was told it would take up to 30 days to get the problem resolved.

On October 18, I called Wellcare again to inquire about the situation.

I was informed that they have sent me two checks. The first one was sent on May 25, 2022, Wellcare claims that check was cashed on May 31, 2022.

The second check was sent on August 19, 2022 and was cashed on September 22, 2022. Why would I wait a month to cash a check!

I went to my bank to have them check into the cashed checks. They couldn't look into the one that was claimed to be cashed in May because after 90 days

the bank shreds everything. But, they were able to search for the check that was supposedly cashed on 9/22/22. No cashed check was found.

I only cash checks at my bank. How can Wellcare claim those checks were cashed? I have had a similar situation with a money issue a few years ago, that company was also in the Philippines!
