WaterWorks review: Constantly breaking

I have Waterworks fixtures in two showers in a pied a terre apartment (so they are not used regularly). In ten years I have had to have a plumber come in 3x for 4 problems: once, the shower/bath diverter cartridge broke, and 3x, yes, 3x, the hot/cold water cartridges broke. Waterworks is constantly sending me new cartridges (after the first break they've been under warranty) but it costs just under $500 every time I have to call a plumber. I'm almost ready to retile the bathrooms just to get rid of these low quality fixtures! I've lived in my house over 30 years and never had any issues with the fixtures in the showers.
