We were a customer of WM for well over 10 years. When we finally terminated our relationship, we had to do so due to lack of service. The WM trucks would drive by and miss our pickups routinely. We made multiple complaints by phone and as well as n writing to headquarters. Unfortunately, their service never changed and they stated their trucks actually would stop but the containers was blacked, we had do show WM our video footage of their trucks driving in and then driving right back out while the container was not blocked. These issues were the tip of the iceberg with WM. We cancelled out service with WM due to poor service and paid our billing. However in normal fashion, WM continues to bill us for services not received. Most notably. we have WM service with no signed contract that allows WM to bill us for "administrative charges", "regulatory cost recovery charges" resume service fees" (we never wanted them to resume service, we cancelled them...) or most notably "inactivity fees". We called WM multiple times and discussed these made up bogus fees, notably their "inactivity fee" and asked them to point out exactly where on any papers that we signed that WM could add these fees and a inactivity fee. They have been unable to show us any where on our old or any contract that these fees were disclosed. Our contention is that WM is fleecing businesses in extra made up fees that we did not agree nor sign for. I had spoken to our rep on multiple occasions who tried to bribe me by telling me that, in fact we didnt sign to allow or agree to any of these extra fees, but that he would delete these fees if I would sign a new contract. I refused as no where in my old contract did it state we agreed to or we would be charged administrative fees, or inactivity fees. Now since we cancelled WM, they continue to billing us, callus and harass us, and continue to add interest on their administrative fees and inactivity fees. We seek resolution and government overseeing of WMs fees notably those I mentioned and where in our contract we signed and WM signed that disclosed any of their fees they are sending bills on. We were unable to charge WM for their lack of pickups, for their extremely poor business service, however we are stuck getting continually billed when we cancelled their services and paid our bill. We will be filing same complaints with NJ Attorney General Div of Consumer Fraud should we not be able to have WM stop issuing made up invoices with no contract that we agreed to that disclosed these fees.
