Please be aware that the extended warranty coverage provided by Walker Group or W3 Solutions requires extensive delay time to process your service call.

A minimum of 48 hours in their level 1 call centre in Calgary, before a service call is processed to the service provider in the field.

Then up to 48 hours in the level 2 call & dispatch centres of the actual service provider, before your request actually makes it to the service person in your local area.

Then of course you are placed on a service call list for the local repair person, which could be another couple of days at best.

So your 2-year-old GE fridge breaks down, your food spoils and now you have to wait almost a week before the wonderful Walker Group warranty gurus and their service affiliates get around to looking at it.

And their rationale? "Internal processing, sir!" "We don't promise how long it will take, sir." "A service man will be there sometime in the future, sir." So, here's to big corp - how typical. Back in the 90's, I met the folks that started Walker Group - bunch of chumps. When your dealer tries to sell you that extended warranty - and it's with the Walker Group - run in the other direction, or at least say no!

I totally agree. Ive been trying to get my TV repaired since last Aug (2009) I finally got my work order 2 weeks ago Apr 2010. The repair depot said they can't find a replacement part and my 5 year warranty is Void if no replacement part is available for purchase. A load of crap. Worst company ever
