On November 20, 2022, I placed an order for a Victorinox cutlery set (yes, it is not their standard product, their standard being the Swiss Army Knives). Their website stated it would be send by UPS, which seemed to be reliable. On November 25, 2022, I received an email from Victorinox stating that the cutlery set had arrived, but as I had been working outside the house for the previous 5 hours it was clear there was an error. So I tried to telephone Victorinox, only to find that their so-called 'phone center' in the US simply does not work. Although this year November 25 is the busiest shopping day of the year (Black Friday) the Victorinox call center simply hung up on me three times. I am now seeking to see if I can get the bank (as it was paid through a card) to claim the money back as fraud.
Desired outcome: I desire both a full a refund, as the time I spent (given that I am paid $30 per hour) is more than the $213 of the cutlery, and the cutlery to be given to me for free, and a full apology to be given.
