Complaint
We bought a 1970 Camaro Vin 123870L508028 and Ventura Motor Works told us (Tim) that the car had no issues and all is fine on the car no rust - after we got the car we found out that they fix up the car and sprayed frame and other part black and covered this with bondo
Oil leak power steering
- Radiator is leaking and Water pump too
-Radiator support is put in wrong - and also is not the correct radiator support and brackets
- the fan is wrong installed - false direction
- Parking brakes is overall missing
- the drive train joint all bad
- Brake hoses a leaking
- the whole Kickdown linkgage missing
- on the Frame is aluminum foil and covered with bondo
- Spring in front a not the right one the are too weak some one lowered the car
We ask the Car Dealer TIM if the 1970 Chevy Camaro comes with a 350ci ZZ3 Engine and the seller confirmed to us - Quote: yes that is a 350ci ZZ3 Engine Quote: - after we paid for the car and we started a restoration we found out the engine is a 305 and not a 350 ZZ3.
The proof for this is the Casting and ID number on the Engine.
Engine Block is number 1980-84 [protected] that show a 305 Block And the Engine ID is V0727CFR = Engine ID Code 305 Also there was no Emergency brakes - the car was covered underneath with black tar to cover the rust holes- also on the frame was rust holes this was covered with aluminum foile and black tar - we also ask the dealer is there any rust issues - the dealer told us the car have no rust and is in good driving condition.
We didn't get an sales contract. We paid 2000USD with credit card and the rest with a cashiers check - we ask for an invoice we never got any other paper work from the dealer.
The dealer fails to comply with the Car Buyer's Bill of Rights,

Just came across this complaint. I Bought a 2005 Mustang from Tim at Ventura Motor works. Let me start by saying that the car is a piece. It had a leaking exhaust manifold, the AC did not work, radio did not work and had body work done that they did and forgot to mention. The pictures looked better than the car for sure. When I called them and complained they said the sale was final and there was nothing they could do. They did admit that they forgot to mention the body work & paint!
STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAMMERS AT VENTURA MOTOR WORKS!

I recently purchased. A car from Tim and have had no issues. My credit is not that good so I had to settle for what payment I could afford. That being said the car runs and drives great I commute to the valley every day and as soon as I can pay it off I plan to go back and upgrade to a newer model. I am a happy customer.
