This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I don't know why USP card is not working at all. The customer service is horrible, no replays to my emails, their customer service number not working properly... is it another SCAM to LOOT money from innocent customers like us. Can we all register a complaint against USP card and get not only our money back but also punitive damages. Please come forward to come out of this messy card.

Thank you all.

i completely agree with the complaints as i m one of the customer wanting money to be refunded,i have only 6 dollars in my account but most importantly how can they cheat so many people and dissappear without even informing and what us governments telecom department doing ,arent they responsible in managing the calls made by people in usa.usp have planned to loot money and thus they waited untill they became popular and when many people have started opening accounts they dissappeared ( )$%^&*(@# ),seems they were wating for the right time as everything looks well planned

If these guys closed up their services then why did they allow a recharge. I've recharged my account and I suggested my friend to open one with USP. And to our horror, the access numbers did not work at all, not even their cu support. And three days after that, their website doesnt open. If these guys had to close their services, why cant they return the money to their customers and do it. This is a good way to loot.

All - I am in a worst boat then all of you out there. I had put over $100 just a month ago because I call a lot all over the world and $10 doesn't seem to fit me. What a bad luck for me. I have not been able to make any call using their service for the past month. I sent so many emails using their website but no reply. Now their website doesn't even exist any more. The customer service phone number they gave me doesn't even work any more.

Based on my investigation, I have found the following address of USP Card
USP Communications
mark.sain@uspcom.com
3949 South 200 East #B
SALT LAKE CITY, UT [protected]
US
Phone: [protected]
Fax: [protected]

I would suggest to start sending fax to the number listed above. I tried calling the number listed above but it gives me a message stating mail box is full.

You may start filing complains with FTC at the link below and if they get numerous complains they will start investigating the fraud.

USP card sucks, same thing happened to me. Here is an article i found online on strategies for successful complaints, might be useful :

"Have you had a bad customer experience? Here are tips for getting satisfaction -- without blowing your top.

Strategy:

The first rule is not to let the company set the rules. Avoid the Web page and e-mail route. Instead, first try to speak to a human being. Yeah, we know. It's not talking to the human that's the problem -- it's finding one.

Here's how you do it: If the company does not have an advertised telephone number dedicated to handling customer-service issues, try running a general Web search for its telephone number, or check out these sources:

ComputerHope.com is a massive list of companies selling computers and computer-related products.

Paul English's database of company information gives you telephone numbers for top companies and shows you how to get a real, live human being on the phone.

Call a directory of toll-free numbers at [protected] and check for a company listing. For free directory assistance on a cell phone, call 1-800-GOOG-411.

See if the reference section of your local library has the information you're looking for.

Try the consumer-action Web site of the Federal Citizen Information Center."

This guys are scamsters. I recharged the card for $50 for the third time as all was well the first 2 times. Now there is no response from them nor their toll free number is working. Is there any way we can recover the money?.

I am also one of the victims of USP card's scandal. I have too unused balance on this card. I called federal citizen information center to file a complaint and got the form to file it. Just now I got my mobile bill and got a shock of seeing an international call cost me $40.00... It seems that though i made this international call using USP card (When it was working last month) , it was logged like i called directly from my mobile.. I was billed directly on my mobile plan against outgoing international call... This is very unfair behavior...

Thats the same case with, i have been using this card from 2 months and one fine day it stopped working, they have cheated me of $55. I have tried calling them so many times and when ever i call it goes to the voice mail, there access number doesnt work . I have mailed them so many times, nothing works.
If everybody on this board is with me, than lets book them under the cheating case and send them a legal notice. I would appreciate your co-ordination.

I also have money stuck with USP Card. I guess the phone service was working till 22-23rd Aug.
My account balance had not got credited though my credit card had been mailed. So had mailed them. A guy named Reed Bowen (Reed@uspcom.com) mail back to me on 21st Aug and my account was credited properly. I could use the card for a day or two... but then their number changed... itz not been working since... :-(

Yes I totally agree. Now their website is also not working. First their toll free number stopped working. Then they gave the new toll free number. Even then also I am not able to call. I tried contacting customer service but no replies. We have been duped of our money. I don't know whether we can get it back.

Thanks

To all those who have been cheated by USP card,
Please file your complaints at https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/complaintlink.aspx
If the number of complaints is high, there is a chance that we can wage a legal battle.

hi,

This is one of the worst thig I have seen..

I had $ 10.2 left in my uspcard.com account when I checked it last week.

Now, the cust. service number seem to be dysfunct, and as well their website.

Could some one pls. confrm are they bankrupt ? (I heard this thing about sunrocket voip service..)

If it is so easy to escape the rules and ignore the customer's without refunding their unused card recharge money, I guess we can expect many more debacles like this ?

* Hope some thing positive comes out ...

Thanks,
Channa.

I am also facing the same problem. I am really wondering why it happened when usp cards was so popular. Its really weird to see such things happen in country like usa. Is there any way we can complain to any board or organization to see our money refunded back.

I also lost my money. I wasn't able to call either Customer care or Toll free numbers. I wrote many complaints to inform them but there is really no response from them. The US firms should not close the company like this, atleast they shoud have stopped accepting the transaction. How we could know all these, we should take severe action against these companies and sue them.

I urge you all to call the Federal Trade Commission's consumer support helpdesk and report your complaint to them. If they get a significant amount of calls regarding USP card there may be a chance something will be done about it. The number is [protected].

This is really terrible. I wonder how the US is not aware of such firms. I am sure their insurance should be able to cover us if they in fact have closed down. I hope we can all recover our money with damages.

When I tried to call the toll free no last week ,I thought it was temporary problem, after that I came to know that we all have been cheated, I have never faced this type of problem with the online calling cards. If they want to stop the service they should at least refund our money. Do you know anyone to help us in getting back the money. Be aware of people like this.

Hey Guys, I just realized that this may be some sort of a scandal when I found that the site was gone. Until now I was writing mails to their customer support but to no avail. Wrote at least 5 mails but have not got any response :( and now the site is gone. This is something very unlikely in US. Any clue anybody how we can lodge a complain?
