I am contacting you because USAA found it acceptable to cancel my auto insurance policy with minimal notification. After I supposedly missed a letter in the mail informing me that I needed to sign a user agreement. I, however, never received this correspondence. And after not receiving my response, my policy was canceled with little to no warning. This, to me, is completely unacceptable. For a company that claims to serve the military, to drop a customer's coverage after 14 years with almost no warning (none that I received), especially given that all other correspondence is electronic. setting aside the fact that in the months I was without insurance, I could've gone to JAIL! but now i have to pay $600 in fines to the DMV of virginia as well as i now have to carry SR22 insurance which raised my premiums. clearly USAA is in better contact with the Virginia DMV than its own customers. I am currently searching for a reason to stay with USAA, and am not finding one. After $600 in fines, I imagine almost any company would be cheaper at this point. And I am clearly not getting customer service for the price. I look forward to your response.
Cody.
