On Jan. 5 we bought H P computer ENVY TE01-3244 using our Best Buy credit card. The sales clerk offered us reward points or free financing for 12 months. We choose reward points. After 3 weeks we checked our account for our points. They were not there. Then, after reading our receipt we noticed he choose "free financing" for us.
On January 25th I went to our Bellevue, WA store to speak to a customer service rep about this. He said he could not help and gave me a phone number to call - [protected]. I called and talked to two different people about this. One gentleman said, "there's nothing we can do to change this." "You mean no one at Best Buy has the authority to change free financing to points?" I asked. "Nope, no one." "Ok, fine, you've just lost a customer."
Today, Jan. 31, I paid off our charges and told the checkout clerk my complaint and said: "For $30 in points you're willing to let a customer walk out and never shop here again. I will be telling my family and others to take their business elsewhere as well." "That's the way it is," he said.
I am very disappointed and upset over this entire thing.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and have points awarded to our account from the $815 purchase.
look very carefully at your member id number and match that to your email.
best buy will let you open multiple accounts using different emails and either they don't know
that or they do know.
