Waffle House

My wife and I are there 5to 7 days a week on Sunday 9/1/2024 we are there early but I over slept and missed going to church, so my wife and I got to Waffle House at around 12:30 or later. I know it was before 1pm. If you look at the video camera you will see we came in and sat down by the door behind three people waiting to be seated a few minutes later a black couple came went to the host talked to her and left, and went out side to smoke. When the tables were cleaned off I saw the host turn and knock on the window to call that couple in to sit, before they entered I went to the host and told her that we were behind the three others so we were next and she told me I was wrong and she went ahead a sat the other couple. I was appalled at her action and left. I like the people that work there behind the counter but this host was not paying attention to her job. I am there just about everyday, but I will find somewhere else to go if this issue is not resolved. Please contact me and a number to call back on if I don’t answer. Thank You

I literally come to Waffle House number 930 in Spotsylvania Virginia every single day for breakfast. I love the waitresses, all of them. They take exceptional care of me. The manager however, does not take care of them for manage the people. In the last week alone I have come in with no manager on site. The restaurant was closed all night long and did not open until 8 am. I came in earlier last week and there were no cook, no manager, just two waitresses. The Waitresses took the initiative to start cooking for the customers. A regional manager named Jesse came in and told the waitress said she was in trouble. For showing initiative? Trying to take care of the customers? Somebody with serious intentions of helping this restaurant that I like so much survive it's absolutely necessary. The Waitresses are being paid practically nothing in the first place. What is their incentive to keep coming to work?
