Driver Support / PC Drivers HeadQuarters

I noticed the $9.99/month subscription for Driver Support for more than a year. I called in April 2020 to question the charge; was told that they would provide the service for $4.99/month. I accepted the lower fee and paid $4.99 from May 2020 to November 2020. Meanwhile, I had a computer technician look at my computers and was assured that I did not need all the virus protection software nor the Drive Support service. I called in mid-November to cancel the service altogether. For the months of December 2020 and January 2021, there were no billings from Driver Support.

On February 11, 2021, I was reviewing my credit card activity and, lo and behold, Driver Support charged me $9.99 -- I called immediately and was told that I had renewed the subscription on February 1, 2021; of course I had not done such a thing. It is hard to believe that in such difficult times, the company would pull such a trick.
