Credit Solutions

In April of 2010 I found myself unable to pay my credit card bills, 2 of them, because Capital One increased my interest rates...I had never been late or missed any payments. I had been injured in an auto accident and was unable to work. I had used all my savings and money I borrowed from my life insurance policy. Not knowing were to turn, I saw a commercial for CREDIT SOLUTIONS. I called this company and hired them to help me. One of the very first questions I asked the representative was what would happen if I paid off early? The company offers 18 month and 36 month contracts. I was told that my obligations would be over. The monthly payment that I had been making up to the point of payoff was all CREDIT SOLUTIONS would receive. WRONG! You will still have to pay the monthly fee for the 18 or 36 months. The account representative that I raged on said that the company was aware that some clients had been misled and that those people were no longer with the company. I never receive a letter, a email or a phone call regarding this issue. You would think that they would have notified me and everyone else somehow! NO THEY DID NOT and they OFFER you a discount of 30% because of this. It is EXTORTION! No matter what they call it...it is EXTORTION! I had to pay an additional $768.00 to be rid of this company! BE AWARE! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! FIND ANOTHER ROUTE! You would be better off letting your bills go to collection! THEY said it was partly my fault because I didn't read the contract...I read the contract but their employee said that is just how they are written! I was such a fool! DON'T FALL INTO THIS TRAP! YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL CONTRACT AMOUNT!
