I shopped at store #201 in Spartanburg, SC on March 24, 2021. I purchased quite a few items that were on sale and/ or BOGO with your Ingles card. I got in line and when Wanda asked if I had an Ingles card, I told her I had to type it in. I typed my phone number like I always do at my usual Spartanburg, SC store and she said politely said "that's not a recognized number". I told her it's the number attached to my card and the only one I've been using for at least the past 2 years. She asked me to try again and said again "not valid". I asked if she looked it up and she rudely said "it's not a valid number". I said "you can't look up my account number" and she said "no". I was angry and told her to just continue scanning my groceries. I turned red from embarrassment because I knew I was over budget without the discount card, but I let her finish and I paid $153.47 for very little groceries. I told her that the response was unacceptable, that I was coming a complaint, and that I wouldn't be back to this location. She said "have a nice day". I've been to Ingles in Asheville, NC that was happy to look up my information, as well as one in Gaffney, SC. Even if I couldn't use my phone number, they were polite and apologized, even asking other customers if I could use their Ingles card. Not this location. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT STORE #201 AGAIN.
Desired outcome: I would like my discount. That's all. My BOGO items, my points. That's it.
