Our dream finished basement has turned into our nightmare. We built our home in august of 2009 and five years later found ourselves having cracked basement walls, causing leaking into the basement that has led to mold and now everything in the basement has mold. We've had to rip up the carpet and throw away any and everything that is made out of fabric. The basement was once our go to family room full of cool memories and sleepovers our kids would have. Now it smells and feels gross down there. We don't have the money to repair the cracked walls or re-do our basement again. Instead of the basement adding value to our home we just lost value and all the personal things we bought to fill that space throughout the years. So much money lost just in the basement alone. We tried calling our home insurance company but they can't cover that expense. We don't know where else to turn, but we do know it is ryan's fault for building such cheap, rushed homes. Now what do we do?
Desired outcome: WOULD LOVE SOMEONE TO COME SEE OUR BASEMENT AND REALIZE THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IN A NEWER HOME. IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEGRITY IN YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR NAME YOU WOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM.
