Captain D's - Bad service over charged
On 9-30-23 I ordered two fish & side dinners with a buy one get one coupon which I was told corporate policy we don't take coupons. On the dinners I changed from fries to green beans (that when I got home realized was a hair in so I didn't eat and threw away.) and on the other a order of mac of cheese which I paid an extra 99 cents for which was no problem. I ordered an order of your cole slaw and when I looked at my receipt it was 2.99 for a small container and I told jeannine the cashier that I wasn't paying that price for it and give me back my money. She said i'm to busy right now I have grub hub orders to get out and they get paid. So I waited and again I said give me my 2.99 and I will leave before my food gets cold. I don't have time and if you would have looked at the board you would have seen that it costs 2.99 and she pointed to the board like I was a child. Finally after waiting almost 15 min or more she re-rang my bill and gave me my money back. This person jeannine has no business working with the public. I am over 70 years old and a senior citizen and I have never been treated like this anywhere. I would prefer a 12.97 refund and not a credit.

It took almost an hour to get our order. I notice there was a man waiting in the drive thru also. After waiting so long I asked the girl who took our order if there was only one person cooking the food. I was told there were two managers but they left and didn't tell them they were leaving. They were both gone for an hour if not longer. The cook was in training, he was back there by his self. The manager left him. He did the best he could, I didn't hear him complain at all. As for the girl who took our order, she kept busy trying to clean and stock items. Very nice and polite. After I order there were about 5 other people. One customer asked if he could get a refund. He was told only the manager can do that and she wasn't there. Finally, the two managers returned. One of the customers said he could smell pot on them. Is that what they were doing when they left their workers to fend for themselves. As soon as one of the managers came back. She turned on the music very loud. Then she went into the bathroom when she came out, I asked her if she could turn the music down. She was nice and said sure and she did. Another thing I noticed was the tartar sauce was sitting on a counter with no ice under it. On the package it says keep refrigerate. The condition of the place was dirty and needed painted. I will not return there again. After seen how dirty it looked, I would hate to see what the kitchen looked like.
Desired outcome: You need to send someone there to check things out. The two ladies who were supposed to be managers need to be retrained.
