The worker's compensation doctor accused me of seeking free medical care "like so many others who come there pretending to be injured seeking free treatment", as he stated.
I have future medical care from my insurance for the rest of my life and I don't appreciate being accused of wanting anything for free... A handout! No one handed me either insurance policy that I have and neither of two policies have I were handed to me. As aforementioned, I worked since the age of 16 to acquire everything that I have wanted or needed in life.
The doctor has no business working with patients since his preconceived notions about his patients are bias, degrading, and unfair to the patients.
I explained that I have private medical insurance and money even if I didn't have either insurance so he tried to backpedal on his insult and said, "I believe you." and again she stated that "so many people come in here pretending to be injured to get free treatment".
Desired outcome: Send complaint to all superiors/provide doctor training on treating worker’s compensation patients and judging each patient as an individual, not as someone seeking free care just because other patients may have sought free care.
