VRC Getaway

So I was just leaving my vacation from Atlantic City in December on the 22nd of 2022 when I received a call about buying a vacation package. I paid $160 for the 3 days and two nights at Atlantic Palace a hotel I've never stayed at before.

They told me you have 18 months to use the package I tried to use the package less than 12 months later again in December for my birthday.

I booked the reservation. 2 days before my travel day I received a call from a unknown party telling me my reservation is canceled and that they couldn't explain to me why it was canceled. I called vrc getaways just to be disrespected hung up on and told him my number will be blocked and won't be contacting anymore even though they refuse to refund my reservation.

About a month later they continue to call my phone I continue to rent being upset that you guys are calling selling me more packages instead of giving me my refund. I spoke to a manager who offered me a $500 credit for a trip to Mexico said he would give me a call back never called me back. Mind you all I want is my $160 back but they continue to refuse.

A few weeks later they called my husband and try to trick him into payin for another package but he told them that I am the one that makes the decisions and regards to our vacation and so they made him call me on three ways and had me purchased another package. For even less money this time actually being honest that I could use it to travel anywhere.

And so since our honeymoon is in April my husband asked me on to make the purchase.

After making a purchase I called back and asked to receive a refund for the purchase I made in 2022 instead I was disrespected the purchase that I have recently made was reversed without my permission and then they continue to tell me that they're not going to reverse the charge from December 2022 they're not going to allow me to travel to the state or the location that I purchased the package to travel in.

This was very frustrating and upsetting because the package that I purchased with my husband was a better deal than the original package but they canceled it without my permission and then refused to refund $160.

I valled again yesterday jus to be told tgere is nothing we can do. I wasnt offered anything but to forfeit my vacation so they keep my money. What type of scam is this?
