Red Wing Shoes

Placed a call to Redwing store in Edison NJ to order a pair of 1178 pecos on 4/21/20. Boots were delivered on 4/27/20.
Product was clearly defective with wrinkled leather on the heel cap of left boot. Both boots were missing the foot beds as well.
Customer service was polite and understanding for even exchange.
I'm almost positive I recieved a pair of boots that were returned by another customer whom kept the insoles. Product was never labeled defective and placed right back into stock.
I was told the second pair will be delivered on 4/30/20. I really hope this does not occur again. As the new boots should inspected prior to delivery.
