When calling the seafood department to check on availability, the service desk attendant tried to connect me, but when no one picked up, he said "sorry, there's nothing I can do for you." I asked for a manager and he said "no", then I asked for the phone number to the Star corporate offices and he said "no". This cannot even be classified as "Customer Service" as no service is rendered!
The is the same Star location where the escalators are out of service about 65% of the time, making it impossible for handicapped people to shop there!
Desired outcome: some customer service and a more courteous treatment.
