My husband took our 2006 Kia Optima car to this place here in Boise for a "Simple Oil Change"
We bring it back home, only to find that the Engine Cover to our 2006 Kia Optima had been Stolen and not replaced with the simple Oil Change.
When trying to contact Jiffy Lube about this, they said that they replaced it and accused us of trying to create a problem for their company.
This wasn't the case and we never filed charges or anything.
Unfortunately, it's our own fault for taking it to this place of business to get a simple oil change.
My husband was hot under the collar due to this issue. We found out that the engine cover is a very pricey piece of the engine and that we will never recommend ANYONE to ever take their vehicle to this place of business if they allow their workers to do this sort of thing to their customers and get away with it. Their work should be overlooked by a Supervisor or some Management of the company. Never will we EVER GO TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!
Desired outcome: Warning to anyone that takes their vehicles to places like this that allow their workers to steal or scam customers out of their money or items on their vehicles!
