Empire Parking Services [EPS] - Illegal booting

I paid for eight hour parking at Cyan Apartments in Atlanta GA at 9:33pm and come back to my car at 5:03 and it is booted. My car is a blue/grey Subaru with Kentucky plates AJX 652. I had to get to the airport so I was forced to leave the car at my friends building and filed a dispute on the website. I had already paid for my airport parking of $61. I will not be back for 3.5 days.

Desired outcome: Unboot the car and allow me to leave my car there for the remaining time for free.

Empire Parking Services [EPS] - Booting at the two urban licks

On the evening of tuesday, june 21st I had dinner at two urban licks located at 820 ralph mcgill blvd, atlanta, ga 30306. When I arrived at around 6 pm I did so via ralph mcgill blvd. There is one point of entry/exit from ralph mcgill blvd and at that entrance is a lot with a large sign clearly stating “parking... All parking reserved for two urban licks...”

When I entered the lot I found parking spaces marked with “telephone factory residents/guests only” and other spaces that had no markings. I parked in a space approximately 100 ft from the restaurant that had no markings.

When I came out of the restaurant at about 9:45 pm I found my vehicle along with another vehicle parked in an unmarked parking space booted by empire parking services. After paying a $75 fee and $1.50 "convenience fee” an attendant arrived an hour later to remove the boots.

It was only after speaking with an eps attendant over the phone days later that he made mention of an “orange sign” he claims clearly states I could not park there. I went back to that lot to look for that sign and found it.

A few things to note about this…

1) this sign is obscured by foliage and is not clearly visible, at least compared to the large black sign mentioned earlier.

2) the sign states to “look for parking lot rules” which I thought I was doing by observing the large sign stating “... All parking reserved for two urban licks…” at the lot entrance

3) it is very confusing (deceptively so) that a large majority of the spaces are marked with “telephone factory residents/guests only” and only a few that are not. I wasn’t the only two urban licks patron that made this mistake that night. Another party also parked in an unmarked parking spot and was booted as well. It’s almost as if this is done on purpose to confuse customers so they can be charged booting fees.

What eps is doing is dishonest, unethical and predatory. It makes atlanta look bad and ends up hurting the local economy by turning off patrons to nearby businesses where you practice your tactics.

Desired outcome: I’m requesting a refund of all fees totaling $76.50.

Empire Parking Services [EPS] - Unwanted booting of vehicle.

Had a dinner meeting at Hal’s steakhouse. First time I’ve been there. GPS shot me past Old Ivy Road NE. I turned onto Roswell Rd could still see the restaurant pulled into the shopping center. Parked next to a closed business and walked to Hal’s. As I approached Hal’s there were dumpsters taking up an acre of parking spots and a sign saying no Hal’s parking. I thought the dumpsters are in the way you can’t park there anyway.

There was no sign at the entrance to the shopping center and no sign near my spot that said keep out you will be booted $75. I ate came outside my car was booted at 2 wheels. My two friends were also booted. The lot was wide open except for our cars. Limo drivers were allowed to park. Our vehicles did not interfere with the property in anyway. They boot every car left on the property for extortion and illegal profiteering.

I had to pay to get my car free. Fee was $75 no receipt provided and the operator wore no ID. Complete fraud. If no parking was that critical they should baracade the entrance. Scam Rip off.

Desired outcome: Tuxedo Festival is the name of the property conducting the crime. It is foreign owned. I want all property owned by this company seized and destroyed. I want my $75 plus $20,000,000 punitive damages.
