I brought my 2012 Ford Focus in to the dealer on 09/21/21, was told the next day that is was my TCM and that it was under a recall and would be repaired.
After calling them 2 days later to find out the status, was told it was on back order with no ETA. They didn't call me... I called them.
Tried numerous times to call the service dept, either the call went straight to voicemail (with NO response) or the call got disconnected before I could talk to someone. I did manage to talk to a parts supervisor and was told no ETA no loaner, no help with a rental! It has now been 9 weeks with no end in sight.
I cannot afford to call an Uber, or rely on rides constantly, and with days getting shorter I cannot walk places in the dark. What I need is for Ford to help out with a rental or a loaner temporarily (even if it's just a few days here and there) for this inconvenience it is causing, I may not have a car until 2022!
Desired outcome: Compensation in the form of a temporary loaner or rental car
