Alabama Power - Billing

In the beginning, I was charged from $65-$78 but since the pandemic, the company has been acting suspicious. First without request or notice they cease charging and picking up calls and used my deposit for payments. So the amount would be $0.00 instead of explaining the charge before deduction they told me to log into my account which I can't see due to the account number saying it's not listed. I informed them that the attempted page has my account number listed as out of state. Once they ran through my deposit funds they requested me to pay in November so from May to November my deposit covered the bills. Even though I still paid my electricity because I was unaware that the emails said $0.00 but were receiving paper copies, then in October the company completely relied on emails to send me notices of bills when evidently the funds would run out. Now I charge over $100 when weeks at a time I wasn't even at home and changed my eating to raw veggies and yogurt so I cooked a lot less not even cooked for the holidays. How does a family of two increase usage when I don't even use central heating or oven? hake I even resorted to using candles but away from two entire weeks only brought down a bill of $140 to $120. This company is clearly stealing I was only able to speak to a rep one time this year and she clearly was not trying to help me but claim she saw nothing wrong which isn't for her to say when she doesn't live in my resident nor did she evaluate the history charge of my former bill. This company is known for stealing and people like me and others are casted aside and money burned out because of greed. I didn't get a government checks to cover this. I'm not working but I clearly know my rights I am charged a fee of usage and addition to base charges, why the heck is a base charge even included? But for so much a two-family won't use that much The computer I'm using isn't even always plugged. The only 3 things plugged in even overnight are the refrigerator, oven, and internet box. We don't even watch t.v. in my home. I cook 1 meal in the entire day. The windows in every room allow plenty of access to light all night. There are candles and night lights that run during the night. There is honestly no way my bill should reflect such a bill. It would be as if there were 3 people and I don't. I don't even like people, and I visit my mother 1/2 a week with no washer nor dryer. I don't own a blender or hairdryer, I prefer to air dry. Plus this is house is so old no way it could handle such appliances all the plugs are 2prone sockets. This Alabama Power are thieves and liars, any attempt to call is futile the line just drop. Also during holidays the bills seem to also jump I admit I did additional cooking back of 2019 Thanksgiving but never since nor do I acknowledge any other holidays. I witness the crazy bill for dressing and potato salad and decided that area code 35206 just isn't worth the effort. Sleeping in is cost effiencet and not plagued with holiday pounds and unresolved New Years resolution. No effort in dating equals no cooking for additional mouth no gift-giving or extra utilities due to visitors. This pandemic has been a true eye-opener I can use this time to get rid of associates while Alabama power uses this time to get greedy as if the people of Alabama have the money. Every time you hear something about those dumb checks and snap increases well I tell you the truth, I received neither of the benefits. I utilize what the good LOrd been giving me since before this chaos and I am just sick of people acting as though they are entitled to every other person's dues. Or that the bill you do or not pay was they're money.

Desired outcome: imprisonment for the people involve in stealing the funds paid for bills.

Alabama Power - Double charging for a bill that was paid in full

Lost my job due to covid-19 at the end of March so I made an arrangement for the bill in September to pay the bill off in three separate payments lights was turned off in November so I had to make a payment in full to get service reconnected and I also have to make good on the arrangements made...

Desired outcome: Need resolved asap
