We found Acc Surface online. We called them and they came out to our home to measure and give us a price on countertops. Ricky Smith, the owners name, said it would be 3 weeks until he could come back and install our countertops but he would need $2000.00 deposit so he could buy his supplies. We agreed. 3 weeks go by and Ricky Smith emails us and says he would be coming to our home on Friday to install. My husband and I took the day off so we could be home for the installation. Ricky Smith emails us early that same morning of the installation and tells us he is sick and can't come out. This story of his goes on for weeks. Now, we have not heard from him in over 4 weeks and we don't have our countertops nor do we have our $2000.00. I call ( leave a message)and email Ricky Smith everyday hoping he will do the right thing and send us a check of $2000.00 back but it never happens. Don't use ACC Surface. This Ricky Smith took our money and we never heard from again. Ricky Smith of Maylene, Ala is bad news.

same thing happened to us in Florida: Ricky took our money & a friend's..3 weeks out for completion..Ricky had a hurt back, then a stroke..long story short a warrant was issued in Fl & while in an Al jail he was extradicted to FL.. he pleaded no contest to 3 rd degree felony (both cases had a money value for a higher felony). We are still waiting for monthly checks for restitution
Contact pwoods@centralalabama.bbb.or (Perry Woods, Consumer Affairs). My complaint number is BBB Complaint Case#[protected](Ref#51-[protected]-[protected]-9-500). He can at least document your complaint against Ricky Smith. I would also suggest you contact David Oehmsen, Stone Systems of Atlanta. His email address is: davido@silestoneofatlanta.com. Also write to the AL District Attorney about your situation. Both Smith, Stone Systems and Silestone are linked at the hip.
Take care
Same thing happened to me. Stone Systems is a terrible company. This is the second time that Smith has done this and they still let him continue. He is $100K in debt to them and they won't help customers. They use the third party argument that Smith is independent of them. These guys are scam artists.
