I am a mother of 2 United State Marines and can not say in words just how proud I am of their choice to give so much of themselves for their country. Today my youngest whom just graduated from basic 2 weeks ago had to report back to NC for MCT training (Military Combat Training) he had to take with him his uniforms and military gear and needed all of these items in order to report to base. US Airway took it upon themselves to decided that there was to much weight on the plane and took off his uniforms and military gear along with at least 25 other Marines gear that they need to report to their duty station off their plane. With out notifing them. My son along with the other marines arrived in Jacksonville NC went to get their gear and found out their gear was still in Charolet and will not be arriving untill sometime tomorrow. My son and the other Marines were to report by midnight but could not with out their gear. Stressed out enough knowing that they can not report on time went to the airline about being placed in a hotel room for the night. My son was told it was his problem and not the airlines, he would have to find his own way to a hotel somewhere, pay for the transportation and the room out of his own pocket. The same thing was also told to the other 25 plus Marines. This is how US Airways pays our service men and women for their service to their country. Not to mention it is our tax money that paid for their flight to get them to MCT training and now after US Air took it upon themselves to put our marines in this spot they say not our problem you find your own place to sleep really. Our military deserve a place to have a good night rest because for some of them it maybe along time before they may have one.Our men and women train, place themselves in harms way, scarifice time from their loved ones and families And because of US Airways own action they say its not their problem to insure for our military personel to get a goodnight sleep let them sleep in the airport terminal seat instead really..US Airway makes alot of money flying our military personel all paid for with our tax money. Something needs to be done to this does not happen to anymore of our military I hope that our Military picks another airline that will take better care of our men and women and give them the treatment and care that they have earned.

your service is utterly pathetic. i payed you idiots 25 dollars to fly my luggage. Because you idiots cant read and figure out what plane to put the luggage on my stuff is missing. you cost me over a 1000 dollars in mercendise. i understand the weather was bad so i didnt not have a problem waiting on flights... yet its not a difficult task to put the luggage on a plane.you better be willing to compensate for your stupidity. i hope to never fly with us airways again. your flight attedants are ### and you have possibly the dumbest people working for your company. you should be embarrssed with the service you are attemping to provide to your customers. we do not pay hundreds of dollars to fly on a plane that is ran by idiots. i suggest you get your company together.

No one is talking about the Marine Corp. How and when to report with or without gear. We are complaining about US AIR! Also our Marines and soldiers are busy training to be deployed to war and I would hope every American would take up a fight for these brave men and women-------they do it for YOU!

I live in Jacksonville, NC and have a son in the United States Army. The only airlines in and out of Jacksonville, NC are US Air and Delta. We to have had problems with this airline. If only another service was available they would make a fair amount of money just servicing the 60, 000 Marines and Airmen stationed here. With the families of these fine men and women also coming in to say good-by and welcome home they would also make money from that. Hope someone sees our plea. Thanks for writing.
