Filed a warranty claim in Jan 2023 for a faulty USB switch on an American Signature sofa. Technician (not a Uniters employee, but a 3rd party vendor) arrived weeks later to confirm the switch was faulty and submitted an order request for the part. Was informed that the part should arrive in 10-12 weeks (May 18, 2023); part did not arrive. Followed up with Uniters customer center on May 25, 2023. The rep explained that the initial manufacturer no longer makes the warrantied part and a new request has been submitted to a new manufacturer/supplier. The turnaround time for this new request is 10-12 weeks. Once I receive the part, I'm to contact the company the technician is affiliated with to schedule the installation. Best-case scenario for new part installation is in October 2023, nine months after initial warranty claim was submitted. I asked to speak to a Uniters supervisor, however no one was available at the time.
Desired outcome: Considering I have two USB switches, the easiest and quickest resolution is to replace both switches so they match with a readily available part.
