I like United redemption customer service line, they are willing to find you a seat for miles, but that`s about it that I like about United Mileage Plus program. This is due to they scamming partner Vesdia, Inc, aka MileagePlus Shopping. They do not transfer my miles to my United account though retailers confirmed the purchases, and Mileageplusshopping post them in pending status which is never changes (they started to have this behaviour in March, and now they not only keep my miles for purchases, they also did not follow with a promotion) I`ll never going to use them again and do not recommend to anyone! They also ignore my emails (sent 13 of them, got responses twice, saying yeah, you should have gotten them, but when I asked why haven`t I, they just stopped to respond at all. Use reliable middle sites (I personally like mrrebates and mypoints) if you don`t want to be scammed and get what`s promised to you.
OMG, I had 200K miles on United but wasn't flying too much recently but used their Mileage Plus Shopping program to keep the miles active...or so I was told to believe that this would preserve my miles...and it says it right there in fine print. Then one day recently I look and see all my miles have expired although I had spent over $100 just 2 months before on their fraud site, their support was horrible and fraudulent, these people are absolute frauds and scammers. I will NEVER fly United Airlines again! Beware of this scamming company!
I've bought from Barnes and Noble through the Mileage Plus Shopping and never seen my mileage posted. They answered "another loyalty program was credited". None of mine, for sure. All e-mails asking them who got my miles, were never answered. That made me think that perhaps the miles were not posted to somebody else by mistake but on purpose. Have anyone heard about a scam like this?
They re-named themselves by combining with Cartera Commerce (who knows, maybe the same people run both "businesses") because of the shame I guess, and now they are not Vesdia, but Cartera, same b/s and no miles for qualified purchases, same dishonest scam, be aware!
Oh my gosh, I have had the same issue. They owe me more than 23, 000 miles for Dell Small Business orders that I have submitted 11 times. I tried to submit another complaint through their website form to get miles they never gave me and it says the form is not working. Its a total ripoff and I am so mad. It has changed my opinion of United and I wont even fly with them any more. They are so unprofessional and this shopping mall is a JOKE unless you are buying something small for 100 miles. I cant believe they can advertise like that and get away with it. All of my purchases through Dell Small Business were qualifying. Its just disgusting.
