Well...I was set up to interview tommorrow. I always research before I interview GLAD I did...I was looking for a side gig to get some extra $$, to help with my college loans... Thank God Im already employed because reading the way the current "employees" have nothing positive to say, and participate in childish bashing has completely turned me off...The information I was given was very vague, the girl on the phone said Id be doing "light office work" lol! Apparently not...Im good...think I'll just head to the mall to make my extra $300 a week.
Ha Ha, it's HILARIOUS that I am still reading new complaints on this. So sad, I fell for it too and never returned after the Orientation. Not worth much of my breath, but thought I would say IT'S ALL TRUE PEOPLE so DON'T FALL FOR IT.
FYI- THEY ARE NOW GOING BY THE NAME OF EXECUTIVE ASSOCIATES AS INDICATED ABOVE. GENERIC WEBSITE fragrancesofthefuture.com. IF THIS DOESN'T PROVE IT ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL.
Stenchura's business practices are too reminiscent of the infamous Cydcor/DS-MAX...

I am so glad I found this site..I went through the first and second interviews and after reading all of this, it is all coming together. I MUST add that my OPINION is NOT slander or libel. It's funny that 2 people during the second interview WALKED OUT because they were, as Jez would call them "skeptics/crybabies". I would call them intelligent. I'm not that bold I guess so I sat through the entirety. My butt hurt from sitting for 3 hours and I was so tired from my head being crammed with all this hoop-laa, that I vaguely remember hearing the words "Parking Lot" (Or P-A which is what I wrote in my notes) I should have considered that a red flag but I didn't until I got home and researched a bit. One thing I find interesting is that the name of the company consistantly changes which might be why it's hard to find them on bbb.org or just googling the name altogether. I fully understand that to grasp the concept of selling merchandise, and marketing you should start from the ground up to be able to put all aspects of the business to play. But if this company has a $10 million dollar expansion plan with "More business than they can handle" and they have so many re-order calls that they can't even get back to all of them, should be FAR beyond the need to sell PARFUME on the streets. I would rather make cold calls all day than look like a snake going up to strangers trying to sell the stuff, whether it's real or not.
In the past, I have had people try to sell me perfume at my place of business and I thought nothing of them but "Creep! Get away from me!" I wouldn't want someone to think that of me, and I would NEVER BUY PERFUME FROM A STRANGER ON THE STREET!
I have never went through an interviewing process like this, nor have I ever had to call the business to find out whether I got another interview or the job, if I am worth it to a company, they will call me. For all I know, they "hired" every single person in that interview. Skepticism is not a negative thing. To have skepticism at a job interview usually should mean you should get out while you can. If it doesn't seem legit (which it didn't) than it probably isn't.
I chose my words carefully, and even though I signed that piece of paper saying I won't post any negative comments on the internet, I can't help but feel compelled to at least share my OPINION. Again, an OPINION is not slander or libel.
It's safe to say I will not be showing up for orientation.
Thank you all who posted on this thread. You are life savers. I have been hearing from some friends about this place. Sounded like some red flags to me. Glad I found this site! Also, @Next -- Just reading your frustrated responses was enough to send me running the other direction. I'm so glad I'm not going to the 2 hour interview tomorrow. Kinda mad I took some personal time at my job now in order to do the first interview. Oh well. I may not like my current job, but at least I get a steady paycheck.
Yes, Executive Associates in Crystal, MN. This is exactly where I will NOT be going. I hope you guys get your reparations. Peace!
They are still going on with this scam I also had an interview there, now they are called t and t associates. If they are not a scam i Dont know why so many people would be complaining about this. Complete joke and its sad they scam people for a living. Go do something better with your lives.
Okay, you all are ridiculous! I have been with this company for just over a week... And I LOVE my job...! I don't understand how anyone can ever say they "scammed" you! And the information about the BBB is completely innaccurate. Here is known information on the company:
The facts are relatively straightforward:
• Scentura Creations was founded by Larry Hahn over 35 years ago.
• They hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
• They are a manufactuer and distributor of rendition fragrances to Independent Resellers.
• The product line is trademarked Observe' L'Essence.
• Independent Resellers of Scentura's product aren't required to pay Scentura for the merchandise upfront.
• Most Independent Resellers provide experience to contractors on how to operate a Reseller operation.
• Neither Scentura, nor the Independent Resellers require any sort of financial investment.
again... How are people being scammed if they aren't asked to pay for anything...? PEOPLE! Don't dwell and blame someone else just because you weren't strong enough to get through the learning program...
