Tuscany review: Mariana shower valve

I purchased a Tuscany Mariana shower valve about 5 years ago. For the last 5 years I have been chasing a "water hammer" noise problem. The problem occurred whenever any other faucet was turned on or off within close proximity of the shower. I was sidetracked because the shower is the farthest from the incoming water source. My googling provided me about 10 different ways to get air out of the system. One Google even led me to change out the hot water heater but I didn't take that route. I have lived with the problem for all that time trying different things from time to time. I installed hammer arrestors on every line, hot and cold. That did not resolve the problem. Within the last couple weeks we have decided to sell our home so in order to pass the inspection we decided to call a plumber. They installed a Moen shower valve and all my problems are gone!
