AVOID AT ALL COST!

Replaced my turbo and remapped the engine. 40 miles down the road the engine started making an awful knocking sound. I immediately pulled over and sent Marc a video, he asked me to take it back but I'd have to pay for them to look at it as it has nothing to do with the work they carried out, I'd also have to pay recovery to get it there. I refused to pay and decided to put the car into 3 local garages (Lookers Ford) was one of them, they advised that the remap had been done with incompatible software which could be the issue, they also advised that the turbo may have been fitted incorrectly. It transpires that my engine is not fixable and needs replacing. I have a diagnostics report from Looker Ford detailing the above.

Whilst at the garage prior to driving it away, Marc was keen to show me his powerful paintball gun and said he has no issue using it if anyone approached his house, I didn't think anything of it at the time but now I understand why he would mention this, probably knew I was going to call back with issues.

The website also stated that the diagnostic charge would be wavered if we requested for them to carry out the work, I queried this as the charge was on my invoice but I was told the website is out of date and I have to also pay this.

I am now without a car that cost £12,000 and I've spent over £1000 on recovery and diagnostics from 3 garages, not to mention the £2400 cash I paid Marc for the initial repair.

Please do not use this garage, absolute con men!

I will be going to trading standards and taking this matter as far as possible until I get some form of resolution.

He was well aware at the time that the car had broken just 40 miles down the road, I sent him a video of the knocking engine, he told me to pay for recovery back to the garage and also pay for him to diagnose and fix the issue, this isn't covered in the warranty, so the warranty he gave me is useless in this instance.

Why I should pay for additional work that's only required due to their very poor workmanship is beyond me, possibly another way of conning the consumer? The car is broken because Turbopacs didn't do the initial fix properly, yet I should pay to have it fixed again?

Yes its true he hasn't seen the last of me as I will not sit back and let him con anyone else, I will be taking legal action. He's took this as a direct threat, and went on to call me a keyboard warrior and a con man trying it on, but he didn't feel it necessary to add that into his response. I've never met such an awful arrogant man and I hope to never meet anyone alike again.

Having read previous reviews, I am not the first person to experience such issues with Turbopacs. Please go elsewhere, these people CANNOT be trusted.
