When i started working there i was told a guarantee of 800 dollars every 2 weeks. Little did i know that i was required to do 26 demonstrations which is nearly imposable. It was hidin in the fine print and they told me that 26 is easy and its only 3 demonstrations per day. I was kept out for 14 hours every day and never got more than one demo per day. They managers would make fun of the people in the house that they were selling too, they would take advantage of the elderly and mentally handicapped and trick people into getting into there house. They would lie about the price and try to sell the vacuums for over 1000 dollars above the allowed selling price. They lie, mislead, and disrespect everyone they deal with. The company is joke and i do not recommend anyone to do business or work for Trebor Distributing.

I too worked for them, I really found it challenging. I wasn't making the money I really needed to keep my household a float. I did like working with certain of the "VAN" drivers then I did others. I did have several sales that should have been mine given to someone else. When I did all the work doing the demo's and have the customer tell me to come back when the husband/wife would be home. Those were guaranteed sales for me. However, I would be put on a different van the next day, then that "MANAGER" that I worked on his van the day before would go back to those homes and he along with the demonstrator he choose would get the sales did. The owner was a really stand up guy to me. He knew I was struggling with not getting any "CHECKS", that he offered me an advance. I did not take it because I wanted to do the job on my own. But, when I would be JILTED out of sales I was beginning to hate the job. My very last outing was when I was taken to a house that had a young boy with Cerebral Palsy. The women of the house told me that I was the 5th person that has come to her house to sell her a Kirby. She went on to tell me she just doesn't need one but, she will listen to my sales pitch. Then I noticed her son on the couch. She told me that her son's medication cost just went up and they were paying $1000.00 every week for his medication. That is when I asked her if I could pray for her son and she said yes. She then told me she already owned a Kirby that was not working. So I took a look at it and I called the service center for her and they agreed to have if fixed for free. The women told me that out of all the ones before me, that she told them she owned one but not one of them asked to see it. When my manager returned, mind you the managers are at least 10 years younger then I was. This "YOUNG" man proceeded to YELL and cuss at me for what I did. I held my own with out cussing. I am a women of God and not even with all he was saying to me, was I going to stoop down to his level. I never returned. It was a physical demanding job and I loved that part. I just didn't like going to homes that were so NASTY and had roaches. I really didn't like being cussed out by some young man who thought he was God's gift to the company.
