There is not a bigger con artist in the whole of Bishop and Eastern Sierra than Tonya Miller and her company MySierraHomes.com (Eastern Sierra Realty). It's not just Tonya Miller though, all her associates including Randi Pritchard, Jose Franco etc. are top tier scammers, but Tonya is definitely a cut above the rest. She stands out.

We had rented out a unit at the Bishop Plaza which is run by this company. We paid a ridiculous amount as fees and were charged for every little thing that they could ever think of charging us for. This one time we lost a key and were literally charged $200 for it. This other time we delayed our rental payments by ONE DAY and had a surcharge of $150 thrust upon us by Tonya Miller. All of this could still have been forgiven if Bishop Plaza itself was well maintained, but it really isn't. It's one of the worst places in the area. A complete nightmare.

But the actual nightmare for us hadn't really begun until much later. It was March 2017 and we were three months away from evacuating Bishop Plaza when Tonya Miller calls us and tells us that we needed to evacuate our unit right away. We were given a 72 hour deadline to leave because Tonya Miller was apparently leasing it out to someone else.

This was absolutely ridiculous and we vehemently protested against it. We realized that Tonya Miller had strategically written the lease agreement in a way that allowed her to exploit a technicality to throw us out like this. If there were any disputes, it gave her the right to evacuate us whenever she wanted. The lost keys and the delayed payments apparently counted as "disputes" and we were forced out within three days.

Our deposit wasn't paid back on account of Tonya Miller and her company exploiting another technicality about early evacuation resulting in forfeiture of the deposit amount and we lost over $5000 as a result of this! We have since been trying to get our money back but it seems like the entire MySierraHomes.com company is uninterested in us and is more interested in conning and swindling instead.

PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH TONYA MILLER, WITH MYSIERRAHOMES.COM OR WITH EASTERN SIERRA REALTY (whichever name they go by nowadays) as you will most definitely have a terrible time and will be scammed out of every penny possible.
