I am writing this to warn everybody about the fraudulent business practices of Tiqets. On July 16th (16.07), I purchased a guided tour to Musée d'Orsay in Paris and paid a total of 219.80 EUR (Order ID: 136157928). Regular entrance tickets to this museum cost 5 times less, but since they were completely sold out, Tiqets used this high-demand situation to sell expensive tours. They accepted my order and processed my payment on 16.07.However, the very next day, on July 17th (17.07), I received an official notification stating that my tickets were cancelled because the guide was allegedly sick. No official medical confirmation or proof of the guide's sickness was ever provided. This looks like a pre-planned, deliberate scheme to collect money from tourists for tours that do not even exist. We did not want to cancel our visit. On July 17th (17.07), I immediately replied to their email, stating clearly: we do not need the guide, just provide us with regular entrance tickets so we can access the museum. Tiqets completely ignored this reasonable request. They refused to help and cut off communication. To make matters worse, they stated that a refund would be issued within 5 to 10 days. This deadline has completely passed, and NO MONEY has been returned to my account! Furthermore, their finance department has not even requested my international banking details, SWIFT, or IBAN for a transfer, which is necessary for processing international refunds when a direct card reversal fails. They are simply holding my 219.80 EUR illegally for a service they cancelled on their own initiative. This is a complete ripoff and a ruined vacation. I highly DO NOT recommend this platform to anyone. Avoid Tiqets if you don’t want to lose your money and your nerves!
