I sushil raka has opted tenndergreens holidays to plan my honeymoon in kerla. It was a personalized tour pacakage.
Whatever was promised by the holiday planners was not delivered to us. and when my wife was complaining the concern person about our dis comfort, he started talking in a very rough language.The concern person name is SHIJU .
All the under written service which was mention in the trip schedule was not made available to us.
. we had to travel 6hours to reach our hotel
. it was said that we vil be given a 4 star property, but it was a 3star property
. other than the bookin of hotel room, no other information was given to the hotel staff.
. we made a fool of ourself infront of hotel staff when we asked for the extra paid service, n the reply was that they have no information abt was a very embarassing situation.
.the most important thing, at the end of our trip whn v reached there at tenndergreens office, n started complaining about our discomfort, this person had no manners to speak to a client.he started shouting at the tip of his voice .
. when v asked for his bussiness card, he refused to giv it.
. he asked us to leave da office just cz sum othr guest were cuming at his ofice.

Kindly look into my problem. as this holiday planner dosent have any sense n manners to speak n deal with customer. once they get the payment after that they feel its just a holiday on our risk

    Hi, My name is Arun and was shocked to hear such a thing about Tenndergreens and Shiju. It is almost impossible to forecast and arrange a picture-perfect trip and certain minor things can always happen. I have used their services twice ... Nov. 2010 for kerala (8 nights), Feb. 2012 for Rajasthan (10 nights) and they haven't let me down. Surprise arrangements for Valentine's day celebrations and Birthday celebrations and many last minute Requests were happily complied by them. Two people who responded smilingly to all my requests made at all odd hours were Shiju Radhakrishnan and Chitra Nair. They stand out from their peers because of their sheer attitude of Hospitality. My only complaint is that they aren't starting their services in other parts of India like Uttaranchal or Eastern India ... travelling would have become merrier for us!!!

    I think the explanation from the managment is very much correct.There are some people want to enjoy their holiday or honeymoon free of cost.Inorder to get refund they may start to complaint from the begining.

    Dear Readers and Complaints Board,

    We find it utmost unfortunate to read the above comment about our services - first one ever in the past 5 years of tennderGreens' existence. Although the comment was noticed by us about a month back, we thought we would respond to it after seeking a legal advice on the mode of response. The following is what we would like to let all the readers know,

    1. Complaint on Travel time of 6 hours: The travel time from Alleppey or Kumarakom to Munnar will take any time between 4 to 6 hours. In the proposals shared with the clients, we indicate both the approximate travel time and the distance (in kilometers). In cases when the clients feel tired or nausea, the driver would slow down the speed, in order to make the clients comfortable. In the above occasion, Ms Sweta (Mr Sushil’s wife) started vomiting and the driver had to stop the car frequently – at the end, taking about 6 hours to complete the journey. The road to Munnar is full of turns and hairpins – making it tough for most of the people difficult to bear, especially if they are unfamiliar with such drives
    2. False claim of 4 star resort: Munnar has a very difficult topography and hence at no point someone can claim any hotel in Munnar as 4 star. Technically, as per the standard, all the hotels in Munnar are 3 star or below. Due to the rough topography and climate, none of the hotels have the facilities to call themselves as 4 star. However, there are some portals and companies who rate the hotels as luxury or 4 star, based on the relative comparison among the set of available hotels there. One such categorization can be found here: The complaint Mr Sushil has raised is about Mountain Trail Resorts, Munnar, which is also rated as 4 star in the above portal. However, in order to be on the safer side, we never rate the hotels with star rating. Instead, we call them budget, elite, premium or luxury. Mountain Trail falls in premium category, among available hotels in Munnar (in terms of price and also the comfort). The document proving our above explanation that was shared with Mr Sushil can be shared for your reference (Booking Confirmation Receipt).
    3. Sharing the guest information to hotels: A week before the journey, we collect a detailed profile from the customer, through our website. The details can be seen here: The information provided here is promptly shared with the hotels, before he clients check-in. Mr Shweta (Mr Sushil’s wife) had filled this information one day prior to the journey, but we have ensured that the same is available to all hotels before they check-in. The proof for this is available (Guest information Document) and can be shared.
    4. Availability of services as committed: All the paid services and inclusions (canoeing, fishing, candle light dinners, flower bed decoration, beach access etc) that Mr Sushil has made the payment for was provided in the Booking Confirmation Receipt. All the services committed in this document were provided without fail. This may be verified with the hotels, for which we can furnish the documents from the hotels, if need be.
    5. Misbehavior from tennderGreens’ staff: For the second day stay at Mountain Trail Resorts, Munnar, Mr Sushil had demanded the cancellation and refund. As per the agreement with the hotels, the cancellation with full refund can be done only one month before the date of journey. With much struggle, we could get the cancellation done and the amount was refunded to Mr Sushil (Rs 4, 500/- for the second night stay at Mountain Trail Resorts). However, after the receipt of this amount, he started demanding more refunds, which was impractical for us to do as he has already completed his stay. For this refund, when Mr Sushil has started shouting and misbehaving with our staff, Mr Shiju Radhakrishnan, Director, Sales & Marketing had to get involved and had to ask to vacate the office. It’s true that our Director had also said that if Mr Sushil doesn’t leave the office immediately, we will have to seek the help of security. We had our clients moving in and out and a discomfort created to them was not acceptable. The proof of accepting the refund can be shared for your reference. This document was duly signed by Mr Sushil before collecting the refund. He has also declared that there is no more liability from tennderGreens to him. This shows that his only intention was to exploit us and get us fund his vacation free of cost.

    We are utmost concerned about our brand equity and believe that it’s important to provide responsible travel solutions.     2. Guest Information Document sent by tennderGreens to all hotels indicating the clients’ profile
    3. Declaration signed by Mr Sushil, after collecting the refund saying there is no more obligation from tennderGreens

    Dear Mr Sushil,

    We believe it was very immature to raise such a fake and baseless complaint. We are aware of the fact that you have posted similar complaints in other forums as well (in the names of Shweta, Sushil etc). For the past two months since you posted this comment, none from Complaints Board had called us or questioned us – possibly they too felt that yours is a fake complaint, not worth responding. Due to the irresponsible and irrational acts like that of yours, it’s the genuine complaints that are losing its importance. Please refrain from such acts and request you to act responsibly.
