TeethCelebhelp.com review: sending free trials with shipping charge then billing 149.95 for product 1 week later to the card I chrged the shipping fee 26

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

From a Consumer Reports suggested product I agreed to pay the shipping cost of 3.95 for a tooth whitening product. This was advertertized as a free trail offer. This morning I was viewing my bank statement and I discovered a 149.95 purchase to a company called teethcelebhelp.com as well as a 3.95 charge listed as a international transfer fee. Anything other than extremely small print or no print at all would have notified me of this additional charge. For this price I would have gone to the dentist.

Same thing happened to us! We actually cancelled the same day because we became suspicious of this company. We wish we would have done some research first! They charged our bank account for 149.95 and now they are giving us the run around.

The exact same thing has happened to me. People do not fall for this gimmick, and in addition to the charges, you will not receive the product.

I ordered my "free trial" on the night of the 16th of January, it was suppose to be a 14 day free trial. On the night of January 29, $149.50 was attempted to be takenfrom my charge card. Fortunately I have a prepaid card and the funds were not there to cover that amount. Now if you note the dates that is only 13 days after the product was ordered; I did not receive the product until approximately the 24th of January. Unfortunately the company was persistent, on the very next day they attempted to deduct $99.50 out of my account, which was declined again because of NSF, but they did not stop there, they then attempted the amount of $49.95 which I did have in the account. This was done on the 14th day of the "free trial". By the way, I did try to cancel a few times by phone, only to be placed on hold for 20 plus minutes. With a houseful of children here I have no time to sit and not be answered, so I turned to the website to cancel. I was given a runaround by them as well. I received a "ticket" email acknowledging my cancellation and my complaint of funds being drawn and it said that an agent would be contacting me. A week later I received another email from one of their employees that stated that they could not authorize cancellations (even though there was a form supplied by their company to do so), and that I must call the company itself at the 866# to cancel. Of course this was after the deadline to cancel that I received this answer.

On January 22nd I tried to order a free sample & was just supposed to pay the $3.95 shipping. They kept saying that my order could not be processed so I gave up. Today I got my bank statement & noticed a $149.95 charge from TEETHCELEBHELP.COM which was taken out on the 30th. I'm sure I won't receive the free sample or the real product. I never authurized this amount to be withdrawn from my account &it's put me in the hole financially. Does anyone have the website, email or phone#? Since the order could not go through, I don't have any of that info. I'm going to go to my bank & ask if there's a way they/I can block any more withdrawl's from this outfit. Thanks!

This all happened to me as well, Total shell game. The customer complaint line ends up at a sweet shop in India, So sorry but we must keep your money because you agreed to the Terms and Conditions but didn't cancel in time. I cancelled in plenty of time and have dated correspondence with them including the cancellation numbers. I've spent hours on the phone with Visa, You would think they are working for the White Teeth people.
If you don't have it the Complaint line is [protected], Email: support@whiteteeth.com
Good luck, your best recourse is with the Bank but they were not fun either.

Anybody want to do a class action lawsuit, I'm in.

Like Terri I ordered on the 16th of Jan the "free trial" with a 14 day trial period. I received a bill today showing a charge of $150.94, billed to my charge account on the 29th of Jan. Only 13 days after the product was ordered. I called TEETHCELEBHELP.COM @ [protected] & talked to Miles (CSR142). Very hard to understand. She said the only way I could cancel was to e-mail "support@productsupport123.com. I am to gve my name, e-mail address, shipping address, credit card number & state that I had not received any products & did not order anything but the free trial. She would put on my account that I have canceled & gave me a cancelation number, but I still have to do the e-mail. I then called my credit card company & explained my problem & asked them to not pay. Luckily my charge card I used was for my bank. They will keep an eye out to see if I am charged again & inform me. They will not pay it. I'll get back to you after I e-mail "support@productsupport123.com" & let you know how it goes. Pat

I had the same problem. This is a scam. I called to cancel within 14 days but they kept telling me to call back because the computer was down. After the 14th day, they said that it was too late to get a refund. I complained to Better Business Bureau.

I do not know if i would trust a lawyer from this webpage, who knows from where they come from or what side they would be for. I received a message from KMEDIA as a worker for celebs on this site. Maybe any lawyers here would be one to be working for the advantage of these companies. How can we get a list of as many people as possible together that have been treated this way and send it to every state Attorney's General. I would think this might be possible.

The better Business Bureau advised me to do so or more or less, do one myself. The BBB also told me that they have many complaints about the California address.

Here is another adress for shipment of there product that I just received 2 days ago and of course sent back:

Hey guys you can trust me. I just filed with the https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx, which deals only with internet crimes. I also filed with the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission. You can see for yourself that these are the agencies which can make something happen. As well, your state attorney general can take these complaints. It has to reach critical mass for them to take action. And this would be lucrative for the agency to pursue. These companies no doubt have billions and may indeed be organized crime. And by the way, I, too, received EXACTLY the same rejection of refun letter. March on!

I've received two emails because of being scammed by this company - after dedicated complaining by me.

My Bank of America credit card company has now given me a credit of $149.95 and $4.49 foreign country currency fee based on my filing a dispute of the charge with the credit card company. They said they will attempt to charge back these amounts to the White Teeth Company although I don't know when.

My bank told me to save the email below as proof that the company will refund the charge. I know there are hundreds of consumers facing no refunds from these companies using different company names.

This is the second email received by me so I will see their response in 3 to 7 business days. Their first email said they were canceling my membership but the request for a refund by me was DECLINED.

Dated: March 2, 2010 Refund Status: Refunded - from Celebrity White Teeth

Dear Sir:

Upon reviewing your refund request for the Celebrity White Teeth, we have decided to refund
your account. Please give 3-7 business days for this refund to be reflected on
your account.

If you have any further questions you may contact a live refund resolution
specialist by calling the number below. We are available from 9am to 6pm EST

I, too, have been scammed by ADVANCECLEANSES.com and have been trying t reach someone in this company and all I get is a recording saying "There is no one in." Then the phone hung up without giving me the opportunity to leave a message. I tried this exercise 5 times and gave up. I called my bank to alert them of this activity and they have heard of this scam but cannot block this account until charges are incurred on my debit card. There were two charges of 0.99 cents on the same day in January.

It seems I am not alone in this operation of fraud. Is there anything I can do about it? There must be some action I can take other than closing my accounts and re-opening another.

I am frightened, and have never had this happen to me before. I hope the BBB or other agency reports them as doing fraudulent business. We MUST get these people off the internet.

I fell for this stupid scam too. I cancelled after 8 days but still got billed. Them I tried to get a hold of the company, but couldn't get any answer. I just wrote today to the company with a big FU like someone suggested, so its documented and they can't bite me again. I'm gonna complain to the BBB tomorrow when I have more time. I'm in if we can ban together for a class action!
