Taurus International Manufacturing, Inc.Shoddy weapons poor service

I purchased a firearm online and when it arrived on 02/10/2010 I inspected it and found that it had numerous defects and was unsafe to fire. Taurus advertises a lifetime guarantee http://www.taurususa.com/repair-policy.cfm The weapon had many areas where the builder made an error in drilling out the block of steel and decided to keep going, the entire slide was full of areas like this. I sent it back to Taurus who advised it would take 4-5 weeks to resolve the problem. Today I called and spoke to Axel, I asked him what the delay was as their online service shows that nothing has been done. He told me that it would take another 5-6 weeks and I advised him that I do not like the position I was in as their is a weapon registered to me floating around and he told me to stop making up stories and it was going to be 5 or 6 more weeks. He became rude and did not want to answer my questions, I decided it would be best to end the call at that time. The customer service provided by Taurus is exceptionally poor, their are thousands of complaints against them online and I believe Taurus is trying to delay my repair in order discourage me from sending back the weapon back as it is very likely that they will send me the same broken weapon.

    i purchased a used judge (410-45lc) i noticed cylinder does not open right, after looking it over good, it has a bad plunger, so i ordered a new one, its been 3 months for a spring with a screw on it. nov2 2015 i called again, same crap still waiting on the part- they get 1 shipment a month - im scared to send gun to them for repair, it would be 1 year maybe before i see it back. when i get the part finely -when ever that might be -IM GOING TO SELL OR TRADE THAT JUDGE IN-I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A TAURUS GUN IN MY LIFETIME -EVER-i had a pt100 with gold screws on handle years before, lost 2 screws at range, waited 4 months for 2 screws. TAURUS IM HOPING YOU GO BANKRUPT, USA DOESNT NEED YOUR TRASHY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. MOVE YOUR COMPANY BACK TO SOUTH AMERICA, DONT BUY TAURUS -YOU LL BE GRAY HAIRED OR 6 FEET UNDER BEFORE YOU GET ANY REPAIR PART, IM HEARING BAD REPORTS OF SENDING YOUR GUN TO THEM TOO.
