I have experienced several instances of incredibly rude behavior by several Tahoe City Lumber employees. The customer service experience at this lumberyard is completely unsatisfactory. Gary, I believe one of the managers, is an extremely rude individual and words cannot express my feeling of hatred I have for this extraordinarily rude person due to how he treated me. I would recommend avoiding Tahoe City Lumber at all costs. Customer service is a joke at this store.

Don't know who Dickthom is but I do know that we get many verbal and written letters of appreciation from our customers, and very few complaints. Perhaps Dickthom should look at his own attitude.

Tahoe City Lumber discriminates!
While purchasing a product today, I asked to use the rest room..I remember using the one towards the front of the store previously. I was directed to the 'bathroom' around the corner and there is a disgusting porta potty. I return to store ask again to use the restroom. This time I am told to tell management. I tell two men sitting in office area and then I am confronted by Denise. First she tells me that the bathrooms are not ADA compliant and therefore, cant be used. Next, she tells me that no dogs are allowed as my sweet good canine citizen candidate, dog, is sitting next to me. I remove my dog, get my purchase and leave. Spoke to contractor friend afterwards who told me that he always uses the bathroom and never the porta potty there. Also, there are dog cookies up front and I have seen dogs in there all the time. I was discriminated against because of my gender or job description and also, my AKC good canine citizen candidate dog was too. Denise was rude, unprofessional and lied. I have lived here for over 19 years and probably have spent over $10, 000 at this place. Go to SWIGARDS!
